When Jesus asked a man to follow him, he said he must bury his dead 1st. If Jesus says to follow him, means not his ministry, but his character. Actually this man's father wasn't dead yet, but he meant to serve him 1st till he was alive & then follow Jesus.

SO HE SENT THE HOLY SPIRIT TO THE CHURCH TO PREPARE THE CHURCH TO BE A SUITABLE BRIDE, FIT FOR THE KING. One day we will ascend to the heavens to meet our bridegroom Jesus & even fail the law of gravity. We will all be taken along upwards without a flight engine. Examine yourself daily whether you are becoming like your Lord little by little. Are you becoming humble, poor in your spirit, not mocking or laughing at others sins but crying and praying for them? Or do u only come to church to pretend & show your holier-than-thou attitude? Christians are well known for speaking the most lies on Sunday mornings. Outside the church they display their true character, money minded & having affairs, but in church they cry out, "Holy Holy Holy", "Hallelujah", "Amen". JUST LIKE A SNAKE NEVER SLITHERS STRAIGHT, BUT WHEN HE ENTERS HIS HOLE, HE GOES IN STRAIGHT. THEY CHANGE COLORS LIKE A SNAKE CAMOUFLAGE AS PER THE BACKGROUND. SO TOO A CHRISTIAN BEHAVES DIFFERENT OUTSIDE CHURCH FROM MONDAY TO SATURDAY, INDULGING IN SIN, ADDICTIONS, FIGHTING WITH THE SPOUSE OR OTHERS, ABUSE, MARITAL AFFAIRS, BUT BACK TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY, LOOKING HOLY & STRAIGHT FORWARD. THEY ARE SO HELPFUL IN CHURCH & ASK IF THEY CAN HELP IN CHURCH MINISTRY. ACTUALLY THEY MUST HELP THEMSELVES BY IMPROVING THEIR CHARACTER. SO MUCH DRAMA IN CHURCH, EVEN THEY CAN TRAIN ACTORS. You can pretend before people but how will you save yourself from his wrath? Be your true self. Joseph too had to face troubles and challenges to fulfill his dreams. God too has ordained a life for you like Jesus, so you have to face the wilderness to reach your destination, your goal, your promised land. Don't live to impress people, don't put on a mask, don't be a hypocrite, different inside out. Today make a decision to truly follow Jesus & leave your pretending unreal life, take off your mask today. And surrender your sinful life and ask his grace to overcome it. Admit your sins to him like Mary broke her precious perfumed possession over him. Break your pride & pretense & surrender it to him.
