You had to be a submariner it explains you're healthy interest in subs my interest comes from trying to find you guys , as for your subs you know I like all the examples that you have shared with us so far and your latest is no exception and I love the waterline method definitely is more work than you think but makes a much more realistic end result , well that is my thoughts. bonjour, beau travail, une petite remarque pour les salissures de la coque: les SNLE partent en mission très peu de temps après être sortis du bassin, donc propres et ne font pas surface. donc pas de marques au niveau de la ligne de flottaison. mais à nouveau beau travail.

Bonjour et merci à toi pour ton intérêt 🙏🙂 Il semblerait pourtant bien que les SNLE aient des algues sur leurs lignes de flottaison. C'était le cas du Redoutable (Cf. reportage sur son démentellement avant de devenir navire musée), et tu trouveras également des photos de SNLE en cale sèche comme l'USS Tennessee (SSBN 734) : www.dvidshub.net/image/5674597/uss-tennessee-ssbn-734-blue-arrives-trf-dry-dock C'est lorsqu'ils sont en surface ou à quai que la flore peut se développer effectivement, et ils passent plus de temps à quai que sous les eaux me semble-t-il. @@ghkmodels oui, mais il était resté longtemps en surface, désarmé, d'oû les algues. de même pour le Tennessee, il a dû rester un certain temps. en mission, les sous-marins nucléaires sont TOUJOURS en plongée, dons l'intégrité de la coque est dans l'eau et la fatigue de la peinture est homogène.

Есть пара вопросов: 1)хотелось бы заглянуть в открытую шахту, как выглядит ракета Р39?, и 2)открытые шахты и поднятые все выдвижные устройства, насколько реалистична такая картина? Или Вы имели ввиду пребывание лодки в сухом доке, то есть какой-то вариант технического обслуживания? Тогда и ракет в шахтах быть не должно? Еще раз спасибо за Вашу работу.

@@ghkmodels - yeah as happy as I am that Germany lost when they did, I still wonder how the XXI's would have managed if the war had continued taking into account how advanced a design they were. I like the idea of seeing/making the various decals versions and it isn't an expensive kit so why not. Plus building 5 kits and painting them side by side is saving a lot of time. I do the same with tanks. :) Also have 2 "Das Boot" edition VII's that I will build, but these projects are all to pass time during the winter. I think your model looks amazing, I wish I could reach that level of skill... :)

I made some big mistakes on this build, as the decals, put them as soon as possible, before weathering 😉 One day I'll probably build the red October, but the subs shapes in the movie are really wierd, it looks very squared... This is a huge kit. Unfortunately it's not very accurate. I think they made the molds before Seawolf actually put to sea. It's missing a lot of details.

Salut Dark et merci à toi 🙏🙂 Les pales sont bien inclinées, c'est ce que la dernière séquence montre vers 4'40, mais ce n'est pas des plus explicite je l'accorde 😅 Qui plus est, les hélices sont contrarotatives. Je m'étais planté et avais corrigé le tir, mais j'ai perdu les rushs montrant l'opération, il était devenu impossible pour mpi de développer un peu plus la vidéo comme prévu initialement... Merci à toi pour ton suivi ! 🙏🙂

@@durandpierre6720 je t'en prie ne t'excuses pas, j'ai fait la feignasse sur d'autres points (dont le support qui ne me convient plus du tout, mais le soum n'est pas collé 😅), et je vois avec plaisir que tu as toujours l'oeil sur les détails 🙂 Pour conclure sur les hélices, un jus sombre a aussi été passé dessus 😉 Merci pour la chaîne, aucune ambition si ce n'est partager mes montages. Ça peut paraître bizarre mais je préfère monter des vidéos que de poster à rallonge sur un forum, j'ai l'impression que ça me prend moins de temps, et je trouve ça plus parlant parfois 😅 Encore merci à toi ! 🙏🙂

Many thanks 🙏 Fitting itself is not so bad, except for the tail where a big gap appeared instead of a panel line. But the mold seems aging, flashes make bad joints along the fuselage. Thanks again for your interest ! 🙂

Having served on HMS Resolution for a few years in the late 60's and early 70's, this is an excellent replica of the weathering, rust and accumulation of verdigris on the hull. Well done GHK. 👍

Good morning GHK , John here from Christchurch New Zealand still watching you turn out these great subs, Hms Res looking good , If you havent already take a look at MicroMir USS Parche SSN 683 1/350 A very interesting product of the cold war ! I really like the Res and got some ideas for my Hobby Boss USS Virginia another 1/350 , Dont suppose youve donethe 1/144 Astute ? just curious I like the way you do the subs and ive seen a few conflicting ideas about the model specially water intakes etc . Good morning John ! I still have five 1/350 kit from MikroMir in my stash : USS G. Washington, Pr. 661 Papa class, Pr. 1710 Mackrel, Pr. 673 and the USS Tullibee 😉 I have around 50 subs kits in my stash at different scales (1/700, 1/350, 1/144 and 1/72). The 1/144 Astute is in the stash but I'm actually trying to build the 1/144 Seawolf 😉 Many thanks for your interest ! 🙏

@@ghkmodels yeah I don't mind MicroMir despite comments I know they aren't the best but with patience they come out well you've proved that, 50 kits ! either your not married , on the verge of divorce or very lucky 😃 I'm lucky my wife thinks all subs are the same and doesn't notice Hobby Boss , Trumpeter , Zvezda ect as brand names the skimmers ( surface ) ships battle , destroyer ect get a bit harder to to , for want of a better term ' hide ' But you marry Rtd Navy and that's what you get I guess 😳

what is your defintion of "good"??? - Here is a hint- the NEXT time Dragon repops it- BUY it. 's what I did. Gots 4 in my stash.- and ps- because of the size and shape of the kit box- retailers ARE going to be your best best, cuz the shipping will kill you.

Beau travails bravo juste une question apparemment sur cet appareil la dérive côté droit est de couleur noire et côté gauche apparaît en bleu nuit sur votre modèle la dérive est des deux côté bleu , voilà juste je posais la question cordialement bonne continuation dans la maquette

Vous avez tout à fait raison pour la dérive, je m'en suis aperçu trop tard, et c'est le problème avec mes montages : il ne faut pas les prendre pour référence, surtout pas ! 😅 Entre mes oublis, ma flemme et mes erreurs, il y a souvent pas mal de détails qui clochent. Bon après il faut aussi dire que je fais ça pour ma petite collection personnelle sans aucune prétention, donc je me permets beaucoup de liberté sur mes montages. Merci de votre intérêt et commentaire en tous cas 🙏🙂
