Okay none of them are american but one of them lived in Canada (Minji, the oldest) Two of them are Australian (Hanni is vietnamese but she was born and raised in Australia and Danielle is half korean half Australian born in Australia) So they speak english fluently (Hyein and Haerin arent fluent yet but they're getting there)

ok so a must watch are 'omg' offical mv which follows the story of ditto but from the idols point of view rather than the fans. (you watched the performance one.. the other mv is the story one). Newjeans lore is about para-social relationships between fans and idols.. In ETA they dont exist... they are imaginary friends/voices in the head of 'EVA' who is a fan of newjeans and is paranoid about her 'boyfriend' she uses her imaginary friends to fuel her paranoia... what newjeans are singing are actually 'Evas' thoughts as she imagines newjeans are telling her them..... notice she sees them on her phone and as different people.. the cops... the gas station attendees.... people in cars next to her and passsengers in her own car. she does indeed run him over and put him in the boot... the directors cut shows her pushing the car off the cliff. (personally i think hes an ex that she hasnt got over rather than her boyfriend which would explain her unhinged paranoid behaviour.) You watched the performance versions of OMG but the actual story version also has a LOT of para social lore and is a 3rd part to ditto side a and side b (ditto itself follows the same pattern as ETA with the girls not existing and the camera girl being the fan creating imaginary friends with them to help cope with her loneliness). The ending of Ditto is bittersweet as she does initially move on with the boy but later on in her older years she slips back into her loneliness and depression and strat seeing newjeans again.. what she is watching on the screen is blank tapes and white noise but we see on the screen is what she sees in her head.

Dude 'supernatural' samples a pharell produced song and pharell actually redid his adlibs for the song.. you can hear him throughout the song. its why when you searched newjeansx pharell 'supernatural' instantly popped up :P The song has 2 parts and imo i believe the song is about how they feel 'alienated' by their parent company hybe and how they need to escape from them to another planet.. the subliminal messages throughout suggest in the future grass is greener on the other side which also suggests that.

i'm at 13:29 right now and i know youre gonna flip when you see the coke in 'how sweet' haha... but just to clarify 'how sweet' is NOT a coke ad.. simply coke sponsored so a paid promotion/product placement sure.. but the song isnt a coke song.. like 'zero' isnt a newjeans album song but a coke one.. 'how sweet' is the debut from their 4th comeback and the song is actually theorised to be a diss track toyards their parent label hybe... i wont go into full detail cos you are new but yeah.. not a coke song lol. Also al their songs are like 50% at least in english lol... :P

Yes its all 90s and RnB and it dance derivatives like new jack swing and miami bass and also Clubland genres that have RnB influence like UK Garage, baltimore club, jersey club and drum and bass.. all 90s (very occasionally going back into late 80s like supernatural or going into very early 2000s but 95% 90s) 2 members are australian... no americans :P
