What if a single mom has done literally everything that you suggested. But the teenage boy says sorry and starts to cry during conversation between them. But he still does the same thing the next day and everyday

She has done nearly everything you said. But he still repeats what he does to and with her. It has been hammering her emotionally after ever time. He brakes rules. She has done the suggestions you mentioned before I watched your videos. She will have long conversations with him with them both crying. Him saying how sorry he is. But he does it all again the next day when he gets the privilege back that she took. It just seems to me that he doesn’t care about his mom’s feelings or respects her. And she just keeps trying to explain in detail ho🎉w and why what his behaviour is doing to her. He says sorry she says ok. And he does it again the day after he got his privilege back. How do I help her. Please any suggestions will help

The difference is, as a Christian, when they sing "You make me feel invincible", you know who it is that gives them that strength. As a non-Christian, you decide who it is that gives you that strength.

I LOVE YOU! I Love that you're a Christian Band! I do have depression, anxiety, & suicidal thoughts. I have acted on thoughts multiple of times. Today it has been since 2015 that I have carved my arms & legs. That same year was the last time that I attempted suicide. Because of your music...especially, the song "Sick of It" has helped me out more ways than I thank you for. I still have those thoughts saying, I'm not good enough, I'll never measure up to my siblings standards or my parents or even God for that matter. I'm a Christian, I'm trying to good back to Church again. I've had such brokenness in my heart from family who tease me, a sister who called me fat. In fact, at 309lbs 10yrs ago, she asked me "where am I going to sit? If I'm not exercising, losing weight, where are going to sit. At that time I was really at my low. I count the years of missing my home in California. Wondering the what if's. Since that conversation, I have been able to keep off 35 pounds & hasn't even noticed. I have always been judge by this sibling by what I put in Mt mouth, how much I eat, etc. To this day we don't talk. When comes to friends...forget about it. They just use me & I always feel & think that God has brought them in my life so that I have people to hangout with. I live here in Alexandria, MN since 1999. I left my home state California on May 10, 1999 & have lived here since. I moved here not knowing anyone. My parents had a lake house that I could go to once in awhile while going to college here. It has been rough for me ever since. My parents live here now & I'm the only one out of the other 4 siblings that I have that helps them almost on a daily basis. That's why it is hard for me to go back to Church. I have a hard time trusting God again. I put up brick walls that keeps on being knocked down by users. I end up getting hurt all over again. I believe in Him & that He died & Rose again on the 3rd day. That He had conquered Satan & that He will come to judge the living & the dead. So, with all of said, me being friendless, husband less, or for that matter, even a boyfriend at the age of 54. How can I put my trust in Him? I even have a hard time reading the Bible because of my learning disabilities. Thank you, SILLET for helping me on my sadness of time. I leave two of the only Skillet cd's in my car. Thank you & God Bless you. I never saw your concerts but the videos that you put out...must be amazing! In Him, Amanda Nelson

Halloween is my favorite holiday,,,,,,, it has its dark side sure. But we can celebrate the giving & receiving of the candy, the dressing up in fun costumes & stuff like that, without the dark evil stuff. It’s all about perspective.

-.- religion breaks families up. If you believe in Jesus, believe it and that’s it. Keep that in your heart. All the going to church and following this rule and that rule is what leads to problems. Be a good person and if God wants to, you go to heaven, at the end of the day, it is up to him.

NUMBERS 12:3 3 (Now the man Moses [was] very meek, above all the men which [were] upon the face of the earth.) Meekness involves gentleness and patience under provocation, while humility is the recognition of one's limitations and the respect for others' worth, showcasing their nuanced expressions in character.

We are not of the darkness- we are of the light. Base it off of God’s Word not what parents/ children/ majority want. In the Old Testament witches were put to death- God is not okay with 🔥 HELLAWEEN😈 . This is not a ministry… to dress up and camouflage. You minister and are a testimony by being different and going against the flow. We are not called to modify worldly holidays… we don’t win the world by being like the world- the world has won you over if you believe that you can change people by changing to be more like world. This should have been a 5 minute conversation. How about look at what God says about it and not someone’s opinion on the issue. This seriously makes me angry and so sad right now.FOTF you’ve stood up for so many Godly things and now you’ve dropped your weapon and forfeited the battle to the enemy. I pray that God would show you his way and that you’d repent. 2 Corinthians. 6:14-18 Be ye not an equally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be there God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Theres obviously no scripture that talks about Halloween but there's plenty of scripture that can address ita wickedness.

Very disappointing that you ignored the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Im sad to see focus on the family lean very lukewarm and not take a strong stand on issues about Halloween. We are called to be salt and light and Jesus is the light of the world. We arent to participate in the fruitful deeds of darkness. Talk to any ex witch or ex New ager who are now a Christians like myself and theyll warn you not to do Halloween because they know the grim reality of what goes on during that holiday plus the satanists laugh at the fact that Christians ignorantly participate in their high ritualistic holiday. The devil nakes Halloween look innocent while occultists do sick things behind closed doors. You should investigate how many children go missing around Halloween as well. As far as i would go would be staying home and passing out gospel tracts to trick or treaters. That way you're advancing the kingdom. But you having ypur kids walk around in their costumes like all the other kids because it's "fun" and then teaching them to go to strangers homes, ask for candy and see all kind of wicked decorations that glorify death ....this does a diservice to truly being a light to the lost and is not representing christ at all I appreciate Danny and like so much of things hes shared on this platform but strongly disagree with this episode and am grieved

Our family uses this as an opportunity to teach our child how to stand apart. Our family doesn't celebrate in any way and our child does not attend school that day due to the extremeness in school. It would be more helpful to show children that they are the light and have the opportunity to practice prior to them becoming an adult. Our child now understands the power of agreement and alignment. There is nothing redeeming about this holiday. Our kids can dress up & eat candy 364 days a year outside of that day. I wish more churches held services teaching children the truth and the courage to fully live for Christ. Its sad how the enemy continues to desensitize Christians to his ploys. Continue to pray for God's mercy and revelation to the truth. 🙏

You both had convictions from the Holy Spirit about Halloween and ignored it. I pray God will help you realise your wrong and you will have a chance to repent. Like another commenter said, you both sound confused and have picked the middle ground (lukewarm, Revelations). There are many things that are fun and cute and harmless around this holiday but the Bible has a few examples of what doing something harmless caused someone to either lose their life or pull them away from God. Focus on the family, I am disappointed with your take on this episode.

You both sound confused, like: "we can do it, but in the other hand". And that is 'cause you are with Him or without Him. Be in the middle is be without Him.

One reason I don’t believe in god the way others think is the fact if everything they say was true then why would I be put in hell even if I didn’t believe in god but am still good person? People that are in occult are very open about what practices/rituals they participate in on Halloween and around this season. I’m saying this in love bc i too used to participate in Halloween. Even when the church is ignorant to the spirit realm, the enemy doesn’t play fair. When a Christian is celebrating a holiday highly revolved around death and fear it should be a red flag. Just be careful what advice you give people bc this is serious stuff. I’m surprised that Focus on the Family would basically give an “ok” in support of a demonic holiday that hides itself behind candy…. It’s not about imagination. We should be educating not conforming.

I left Christianity for quite some time. I went through being in a 15 year relationship with a narcissist. I have struggled with depression most of my life. I also am an alcoholic (now in recovery). I was totally isolated living in a bedroom in a home that I own being ruled by the narcissist. Your music helped me so much. I tried to kill myself and was brought back. Listening to your music helped me to survive. Due to your influence and the influence of some good people, I kicked the abuser out of my home, am in recovery and am back in church when my health allows it. Your music touches me in a very strong way. Please keep doing what you and your family of musicians are doing. You are so right. People do not have to be Christians to listen to your music. Your music has so many awesome messages, especially for those of us affected by PTSD, depression, anxiety and other mental health issues. I pray God continues to bless you all as you share your talents with others.
