Yes, I’m older, born in 60. Music in the 60’s, 70’s was different. This song is from the 70’s. You could react to Electric Light Orchestra - Telephone Line. ELO is another step down from the hard rock. Like Pink Floyd they have a unique style and sound, all bands had character back in the day. Subbed for the journey.

Hi Jess, I'm so glad my algorithm had you pop up in my YT page, no doubt because of your reaction to Time. I had the good fortune back on July 15, 1994 to attend the Pulse concert when they performed it at the Silverdome in Detroit, Michigan. The ticket price was $32.50 (the limo from Sarnia, Ontario, Canada and back was a wee bit more). Please take lots of time with Pink Floyd, it's a very large library and pretty much all good. Anything from the Pulse concert is amazing, even straight. Anyway, love your reactions, so many folks can't be quiet and what they're saying is just noise, your appropriate and timely responses are appreciated. I'm sure your card is full for a while but a couple of suggestions I have are Within Temptation - And We Run & Memories and Electric Callboy - Ratatata & F*#*boy. Cheers

I saw them with Halestorm, Pretty Reckless and Lilith Czar and they rocked the the place down. The video for Evolve is amazing when Pau gives a scream that is unbelievable

💯. It may have been the music that brought me to The Warning but it is THEM that made it an obsession for me. If they chose to do a cooking show I’d gladly pay anything to watch it cuz I know it’d be spectacular…. Oh wait, Pau has, & I’ve watched them multiple times. (The fact the batter looks like silly putty just makes it that much better😂). P.S. don’t be concerned if the KZbin numbers are down this week. There is SO much TW content coming out right now with the new album we can’t keep up with watching it all. But we’re digging hard😊

I get it, I should’ve listened to the studio version! This wasn’t an issue in my first video but I will take note in my next Pink Floyd reactions, you can stop commenting it now 😂 Much love!

Listen to both. :) The original has the pure studio sound, this version has some added elements, as well as the visuals. It's the next song from the album you need to react to - and not just the album version either.

Altho Floyd's performances are great, you REALLY should ONLY listen to the studio version in _almost_ every case. That will be the artist's original sound and intent of how the song is supposed to be heard. You missed out in this example, everything on the original album this is from is a work of art in music history, one of the all time highest selling albums for a reason, hence MUST be heard in it's intended context. Very difficult to translate a lot of music in a live setting...it has it's own appeal, but the original magic needs-needs to be heard on the studio album. It's an experience unto itself.

This video is a love letter to their fans. The girls are always so appreciative of them and as badass as they are on stage, off stage they're super sweet and down to earth. BTW, the performance at the end is a callback to the videogame Rock Band, which is what inspired Pau and Dany to learn their respective instruments when they were little girls.

When it comes to Pink Floyd always go with the studio version first then the live stuff . . . And the true meaning of this song is simply "Time" . . .

Agreed. Saw them live in Toronto 1994 and as GREAT as that was the collections will stay with me.

First 🎉 It was an amazing thing for them to do for their fans, to be part of anything they do is an honour! Interesting point about Pau being the centre of attention, it depends on the audience, a lot of people obsess about Alejandra - she’s just so cool headed and laid back, then there’s Dany - she’s the driving force, the one who performs with enormous passion you can always see it in her expressions! Pau is definitely the fiery one and the intellectual one, she’s so clever at doing what she does but without all three of them there would be no band! With the new album coming out yesterday there’s some amazing new tracks to see. As I’m sure everyone else has said - take your pick, you can’t go wrong (as long as you choose it from their KZbin channel of course)!

The Warning, burnt out, called for help. The Warning Army showed up! How incredible for the fans. And the song just keeps getting better everytime I hear it. Yes, no two songs are alike, yet, in time, you might someday hear a new song on the radio and go, “That’s The Warning!”

They are all super smart but Pau said in an interview that if she wasn't a Musician she would be a Novelist.

This has a different sound from most of their songs. Alone was the first song they were allowed to recorded without any help from other writers. It proved to their label what they were capable of. Dice, Blooming, Choose Me are great mv's. From Now On and Onset are instrumentals.

Try a couple mv's now. you will be pleased with almost any song you choose.

I maybe wrong but currently Bran Dailor of mastodon is probably the only drummer who can sing well whilst Also drumming and also has songs recorded where he's the main vocalist. But he's no patch on Paulina. Most other drummer vocalists are normally just backing vocalists. Dust to dust could even be a Mastodon song, it has the same vibe as a lot of their later stuff.

So, going down the rabbit hole of 'Orbit Culture reactions', I happened upon your video today, and first of all, I love your reaction, and second; I love your voice. You have such a pleasant voice to listen to. I hope you get to listen to more Orbit Culture (and more awesome bands), and keep doing what you are doing, you are great!

If you want a better sense of what it was like to actually be there and experience that light show, check out the PULSE version of "One Of These Days". 🤩 If you're ready to watch - arguably - 'the greatest concert performance ever recorded', check out "Comfortably Numb".
