You need to have wired carplay. Otherwise it wont work.

I'm hearing a lot of chatter about connectivity issues with the bose app, like sudden drop in connection, jitters etc. Did you encounter any? If so, then have you found any solutions?

I am using it regularly. I connected to iphone, my tv, and also my ipad. Connection is seamless. And easy to switch between the devices. I will try to make a short video about it.

What happens with consumer products is that new features get added and so when I'm planning to buy a new headphones that's probably released a year ago, most videos are from the time it was launched and won't include follow up videos when new features get added. It would be nice if you could show what new features were added since launch via updates
