Jesus says to love thy neighbor and didn't put any caveats about their sexuality, race, or creed. These so called Christians who follow the words of everyone but Christ make true Christians look bad. Christ instructed his followers to not judge others but instead to treat them as loved ones and how exactly is hating on people because based on their sexual orientation following the teachings of Christ? The final judgement will be God's but I fear more for the souls of these Bible thumping "Christians" than I do for those who were born LBGTQ.

I just find it very difficult to understand why one would believe calling people "wicked" and attributing them to a cult that doesn't exist is "loving" behavior. I'm not with it. And the government cant tell us what version of God's law shall rule. We obviously would never agree on it. Thats why we allow as much as we reasonably can. Basic civics.

It is deeply disappointing to see such close-minded and harmful actions being taken in our community. We should all be able to celebrate and embrace diversity, including those in the LGBTQ community. It is not up to any one individual to judge or determine what is "right" or "wrong" based on their personal beliefs. As for Mr. Frost, let us hope that he is able to open his heart and mind to love and acceptance rather than hate and discrimination. We should all strive to build a world that celebrates and respects all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. I vote to expel the Frost family from our great state of inclusive love 💕 and throw the most colorful party in their backyard 🌈

I hear what you're saying. Being accepting of free choice is fine, but it needs to stop being pushed on kids. Let kids be kids and let them make their decisions on their own. Not be exposed and indoctrinated.

What exactly are you referring to when you say "indoctrinated"? What specifically did the Town of Cary do to indoctrinate kids according to you? Are LGBT people allowed to hold a parade or is that "indoctrinating" kids?

@@josho919do you remember when you chose your sexuality? You didn’t. I didn’t either. I remember in kindergarten having a massive crush on the little boy who sat behind me. Never did I decide. No one is pushing anything on kids. It’s allowing kids to be who they are..these lgbtq kids have a higher risk of suicide because of people just like John Frost with his hateful speech. It’s egregious and sad.

You know I had actually had faith in this place that it would be a good asset to the area, but the horrible smells that comes from this plant is unbearable at times. Not just to say just that, but to hear a female talk about witnessing disrespect coming from the plant manager towards an employee actually turned my stomach. I pray it's taken care of and not swept under the rug like other things that I've heard that the plant manager has done.

They've razed historically significant African American churches without even so much as proactively informing the public. Not even a historical marker is planned (yet?). To make room for commercial development. In the beginning of a low to mid income established neighborhood, not in despair or condemned. Yet they used this church in the town's latest PR campaign, "150 years" of progess, to help highlight how diverse Cary is and how important each and every citizen and demographic is to the makeup of the town. They they quietly allow it to be sold to investors to quickly tear down. They are strong arming the community to "sell while you can", before its too late and they find another eminent domain loophole to take it at low to no cost. Targets in the community are those citizens, neighborhoods, etc, who don't earn $100k minimum. Money talks here. Cary growth tried running unchecked under the confusion of a pandemic. They thought nobody was paying attention. The town officials openly mock and ridicule those who disagree, thinking it's just tree huggers and uneducated who complain. Their growth proponents, the business owners, realtors, builders, and investors will say "you should've complained 20 years ago when we started this plan". Which is a fallacy in itself. That said plan gets updated and reviewed and changed every few years putting out new plans, yet keep telling us there's nothing WE can do about it bc it was a "done deal" 20 years ago. Representatives who are financially tied to the town have recently, on social media, mocked citizens, communities, house shamed specific houses WITH pictures, harassed and mocked PUBLICLY a Latin community influencer, and more. Later retracting those posts, stating a only a simple "we're sorry". Most of the leaders here are overwhelmingly out of touch, and really don't know how to read a room.

This is all across from the elementary school with traffic flow problems, challenges, delays as it is. But don't worry, we shouldn't have an increase in cars bc those moving here for te $700K-$999K condos, will certainly take mass transit to get around. No way those peeps will be driving their teslas around downtown or surrounding neighborhoods. They'll all happily hop on the city bus.
@ITSAGREATDAYALLDAY
@ITSAGREATDAYALLDAY 3 жыл бұрын
It's a pipedream. They're pushing as much positive PR as possible, especially right now, bc citizens are getting louder with complaints about the razing of low to mid income housing in the name of "growth", stating they'll eventually use HUD money to build more affordable housing on the OUTSKIRTS of town. They are not transparent when asked to show records of all of the meetings, government grant funds and compliance records, and refuse to share minutes of meetings with investers and developers when it is just one official in the meeting (stating they don't have to). Private individuals have bought swathes of properties, and once the deals are done, join together as an LLC to develop commercially. This allows those who later form an llc to skirt zoning reqs which otherwise would prevent the overbuild. The area floods as it is, and infrastructure is no where close to being ready to accommodate these increases.
