It could. But I think it is more structured in a learning environment for youngsters, and perhaps may be too elementary for adults. Might be better options.

Please do not use the translation of yusuf ali since i personally have seen that he uses opposite translations and replaces the arabic words. Its a sin to read it. May allah lead you the right path. Proof verse surah Fajr verse 16

The backrest should be at the feet so that we are always facing Qiblah but the backrest is under the arch design at the top where we prostrate. So either we sit with our back towards Qiblah or, place the mat upside down and stand at the spot where we should be prostrating (as per design). This issue isn't limited to the model shown here but majority of such foldable ones where the back rest is at the top end of the mat.

I wish there was just a normal 15 line standard medina mushaf but with the word by word english under each word. this mushaf is nice but the format makes it hard to continue hifz with it as the words are in different places and i also find colour coding a bit of an annoyance. good mushaf for many though.
