What a beautiful performance! Thank for sharing this! Your high quality is much appreciated and will not go unnoticed! The only feedback I have is changing the settings in the ad section, as your wonderful performance got interrupted with an advertising at minute 6 which is such a pity! Does anybody have biographical information about Komarovsky? He seems to have suddenly disappeared. I suspect either he died during the war, or was arrested.

Hi! Thank you for listening! I have done some research while producing the cd. Komarowski died 23.6.1955 in Moscow, where he was the artistic leader of two different music theatres. He composed an opera, some solo concertos, two string quartets and many small pieces for different Instruments. He was one of the great russian Violin pedagogues, among Alexander Janschinow, Natalia Baklanowa and Konstantin Fortunatow. While ww2 he was leader of dance- and singing ensembles at the frontline. Before ww2 he studied in Moscow violin and composition. He became composer and conductor in Nowosibirsk, Moscow and Tula. He was born 7.11.1909 in Moscow.
