J'adore les Knocks... Je les ai découvert une soirée baladant seul au nord de Chicago avec « Slow Song » et j'ai commencé à sautiller, danser en pleine rue Sheridan. Pourquoi pas ? Cette nouvelle chanson me rend pourtant triste. Je vois ma vie se passe devant, sans moi, moi toujours dans l'hôpital malgré mon âge « jeunâtre », disons, la trentaine... fort malade, je vois mes parents qui meurent trop tôt à leur tour (la maladie de Parkinson et le fardeau de la soigner) dans leur maison balnéaire... mes toutes petites nièces débordante de vie... il me semble que l'ainée est une dame italienne de Roma réincarnée, tellement elle connaît des choses qu'elle devrait ignorer, et la puînée une ligérienne revenue, et donc je vois que le cercle continue avec et sans nous jusqu'à ce que tout soit encore Un. Merci. 💜
