I am sorry that this video is so brief. This particular poster was on London buses for a while but it appeared when I was not very well informally so I did not get out much in those days. One day the bus stopped right in front of my apartment and I thought I got a really good video of this but sadly I didn’t press record. I didn’t realise I didn’t film it for weeks and but that point this poster was no longer on most buses. However, one day, I saw it when I was in another bus and I knew I won’t get a good video but at least if you slow it down you can get an idea of what it looks like. I truly regret not getting this one because I love Taylor and I loved this movie. I am sorry for letting my viewers down for not getting a better video of this. The pain is real.

Hi, I saw some of those too. I guess this one was a little less common. Unfortunately I was not able to film the other ones and I actually got this pretty late too. The problem with taking pictures of his posters is that by the time I take out my phone to make a video, either the bus has gone, or it is too far to see the image clearly. I might have one more video of an Inside Out 2 bus poster, now that I think of it. If I do, I will make sure to add it here. Thank you for watching!!

I used to be a Taylor swift fan but not anymore but there's something about hearing her older music on cassette tape that makes listening to her music more aesthetically pleasing, I mean I would be quite happy to listen to her music on cassette tape as for any other way of listening to her music I wouldn't listen to her music if that makes sense, modern chart music on cassette tape makes it feel nostalgic if you know what I mean, I love cassette tapes ❤

Where do you get the player from? I bought one from Amazon, but it is not that good though.
@Ye110wjacket9 ай бұрын
Hello. Thank you for your comment and for watching the video. The player featured in this video is a Sony GX-WM322. I have had this player for years and it has only needed a belt change once or twice in all these years. My advice to anyone getting a new cassette player is to do two things: 1) find a vintage model from the 1980s to around 2002. 2) Find out which models are reliable, and easy to maintain, and ensure you can actually do the maintenance. Avoid the more expensive fancier models. They were nice but they had a lot of complex electronics, and hard to obtain mechanical parts,and are often very hard to fix. Finding someone to fix them is also getting harder so cut your losses and stick to the basic models. What is the point of having a fancy cassette player when a) it will degrade and deteriorate just like the cheaper ones, and b) will be hard to repair? With this model, I can change the belt every few years. It has no electronic display which is good because LCD screens eventually die at some point, and I prefer models without one. The Sony Walkman GX WM322 seen here used to be quite easy to get on eBay, but for some reason prices have gone up. Having said that, most collectors go for the more expansive models, so sometimes you can find a decent model for a good price. I would say look out for Sony Walkman models, or the cheaper Aiwa players from the 1980s. When you make a list of the ones you like find a working model, but make sure your list of models only includes players you know will be easy to fix. That way, if you take good care of it, you might be able to make it last many more years. I normally aim for models from the late 1990s because they probably saw less use as cassette popularity started to drop around that time so some of the models on sale from that period are almost unused. Either way, I wish you luck. If you buy any of the new players from Amazon or eBay, some may still be Ok, so just because one of your players turned out bad, doesn’t mean there isn’t another that might offer better performance. Personally, I haven’t used any of the event models available on eBay and Amazon.

Unfortunately this bus went past too quick so you might have to pause to see the artwork. Having said that, it is fortunate that the video was obtained at all because the film had already been out a few weeks when this video was made. Normally they remove these posters in three or four weeks. I thought I had missed my chance but then I saw this bus and knew this would be my last chance.

Yes. This was officially released in Indonesia. At that time of this movie’s release, the cassette market was winding down in most western countries, but they still had a market in other parts of the world. I think the worst years for cassettes were probably 2008 - 2012. In this period, cassettes had a tiny market, with very few releases. Now, cassettes have made a comeback but mainly in western countries and many albums that see a release on vinyl and CD still don’t get released on tape.

Keep an eye on used copies. Occasionally you might find one for a reasonable price. The problem is that when they featured this album on the Stranger Things tv show, the price went up considerably. I mean, I got mine years ago, when it wasn’t considered “collectible”. These days, many people are selling used copies for way more than it is worth, but sadly that happens a lot. Check Discogs and eBay. I don’t know which part of the world you live in, but local charity shops can still have stacks of cassettes, so look around in charity shops, yard sales, antique stores that also have old electronics. I am in London UK, and charity shops are grata places to find CD’s and cassettes. I wouldn’t bother with LP’s at all of you like music. They are overpriced and if all you want is to hear music and don’t have a lot of money, finding cassettes and CD’s is the way to go. I actually never stopped buying cassettes at any point because not only did I love the format, I also had cassette players at home so if I saw a decent album for a good price, I would just buy it. Also, many albums that were rare on other formats were dirt cheap on cassette. For example, I got the soundtrack to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom on cassette for a few pounds in 2007 when the Lp and CD had gone up on price (it was out of print at the time, but is available on CD again at the time of writing this comment). I mean, it is still a factory pressed original album and sounds terrific. It wasn’t until the Guardians of the Galaxy movie came out that people started to collect cassettes again, but that kind of ruined things because for people like me, cassettes were an excellent cheap alternative to the more expensive formats. Just before Guardians of the Galaxy came out, I bought the original 1983 soundtrack cassette for Return of the Jedi for around 50p. Now, the same cassette would cost way more. Still, keep an eye out for the cassettes you want, and when you find one at the right price, being sold by a reputable seller, get it.

it's weird they ported the saturn version and not the model 3 arcade game. sega rally 2 arcade was a real looker at the time, and the dreamcast ran it too poorly
@YerayRomano22shots Жыл бұрын
What are you saying, that's the arcade version. Better graphics but worse music than the Saturn version
@Ye110wjacket Жыл бұрын
@@YerayRomano22shots Thank you for watching this video. I am not so good at this game. This version on PlayStation 2 is a port of the original Sega Rally arcade game. They didn’t port the Saturn version of the game on PS2. The Saturn version of Sega Rally was good for the time, as it was a perfectly playable version of the arcade game, albeit scaled down. The PS2 version is better in some ways but the Saturn version might still be preferable to some as it has a split screen two player mode. I do agree that the Dreamcast version of Sega Rally 2 was not that great. For one thing, it had floaty controls for the car, and the game didn’t feel like the arcade version, with some graphical differences and slowdown in some parts. It wasn’t terrible, but it was disappointing. Sega should re-release a better version of Sega Rally 2 on the newer platforms. Thinking about Sega racing games, it is also unfortunate that Sega never released Daytona USA 2 on any console. Since Sega don’t seem to have the Daytona licence at present, I think a port of Daytona 2 is unlikely anytime soon. The PlayStation and Xbox versions of the original arcade version of Daytona USA were quite good, however, but I don’t think they are available anymore. I have heard that the Xbox 360 marketplace still has it, and if purchased from the 360 store, it can be used on the newer Xbox consoles, as long as you use the same Xbox account from which it was purchased. As far as I am aware, the Xbox 360 store is due to close next year, so if it is possible to get Daytona USA there, fans should grab it before it is removed entirely. While it does not have a two player split screen mode (which would have been a good addition), it can be played online for multiplayer fun.
@Ye110wjacket Жыл бұрын
@@YerayRomano22shots You are correct. The sound is oddly balanced on the default settings. You can barely hear the music so you have to go into the options and raise the volume of the music. I agree that the Saturn version featured better music. If there was an option to use the Saturn music on the PlayStation 2 version and also included a split screen two player mode, the PS2 version may well have made the Saturn version redundant, but this was just a bonus add on to the Japanese edition of Sega Rally 2006, and as such, they didn’t put so much effort into this and only ported the basic arcade mode. It is still good, but the Saturn version had many more options where you could change the handling etc. The PlayStation 2 version is good for what it is, a bonus disc, but the Saturn version had more play options. I like both, to be honest.

The problem with the PS2 was that many of its games had this horrible washed out look. That didn’t stop developers making some pretty decent titles for it, and the console did have a great library, but when the original Xbox came out, games looked way better on that, although it was technically superior.
@Ye110wjacket Жыл бұрын
Yes, I think it does too. I did have a copy of Raiders of the Lost Ark, but I will have to look for it. I must find it, and add a video of that too. This cassette has been with me for a very long time. There was a period when this soundtrack was out of print. If I am not mistaken, at that time, the original LP’s had gone up in price, and the only CD of this soundtrack available was a rare Japanese edition. As I was unable to afford either of those, I looked into getting a cassette because around 2006/2007, people were practically giving them away. I got this at the time, for virtually nothing, and I sure was pleased because it was still an official factory made release, and sounded excellent. Eventually the label reissued this soundtrack with extra tracks. This is the original release from the time when this movie came out. Thanks for viewing the video. 😊

I will add more videos as and when I retrieve them from storage. I have one more here which I have had for some time. The only reason I didn't add that one is because it was one of those 'electronically reprocessed stereo" editions.
