So as a BRP trained instructor, I can see where you left out some basic safety procedures. If those are not exhibited on the “celebration of skills”, sorry but I would fail you.

In many states the motorcycle and 3 wheel courses are FREE, and you can even take them multiple times. If you're at all interested and this is an option, do it! Oh and don't get a death grip on the throttle on the avoidance swerve, that always causes some interesting results :)

I’m a member of a motorcycle club. With this club you can ride or not, but if you do then the 1%ers will listen to you more. My president of the club strongly recommends me to learn to ride so it’s important to me. I don’t quite anything till I succeed.

The instructor I had wasn’t really interested in the students and didn’t want to be there. I past the exercises but didn’t do as well on the third one. He then cut me loose without any explanation.

Why in the world would you turn off the parking brake before you start it?

They do it different in the states . In England you just need a full valid car licence

I took the course and did not get the book. They didn’t say much of anything about it. I have a 2010 Harley Nightster.

Good video mate! If wonder if a dealership could refuse to honor a radiator under warranty, complaining that someone added a grille that reduced the airflow to the radiator? Your openings seem enough not to block too much air, but some people in my area that own Rykers are saying that in case warranty service is required, the dealership might be fussy… time will tell I guess… one could remove the mod before going in for service, of course…

I’m having trouble getting my passenger seat off. I turn the key and pull up on the seat. Only one side only comes up about 2 inches. I took off the trunk I could see it better but couldn’t get it to come off. Your help would be be very appreciated 😊😊

flip or skid the bike? dude most of these courses are 10 min in a small parking lot where you do no more than 12-15 mph. don't freak people out this is way easier than basically any test ever....

What happens if you fail the course? You own the thing. Why not ride off on it?

Very good information. Here in the UK I was unable to find anyone that gave Ryker training. I have taken things slowly and a couple of day did over 60 miles and enjoyed every minute. Thank you for your time.

Thanks for this! I'm taking my course at the beginning of April to get ready for my 2023 Spyder RT Limited! I have read the manual a few times, but I will look for a PDF of the class manual. I've planned a lot of rides, but I'll start small and local to build my skills and nerve!

I have my course in just two weeks (signed up for the eClassroom option since I'm an hour+ away from the location) and this was really insightful! I'm excited to see how the range portion goes. I'm hoping to ride a Ryker (that what I eventually want to purchase for myself) but my feelings won't be hurt if I'm on a Spyder.

You press eco button "mode" in the Spyder to get rid of message in cluster after turning switch on, then it will start. Dont ask me how i learn it.

I bought my bike 2 months ago and taught myself how to ride. It's incredibly easy and I got the freeway and drove an hour home from the dealership. If you can't pass this coarse you don't belong on a motorcycle of any kind. It's easier than driving a car tbh. Luckily here in Cali you don't need to take this coarse but it does help get a discount on your insurance.
