I want to climb onto Hugh’s lap and hug him and kiss him for hours 🥵🤤 preferably in the role of House, though I think I’d love to do both

Its funny how many Americans are shocked that he's British. Hugh is very well known in the UK. He is mostly known for beind in comedy shows such as Blackadder and A Bit Of Fry and Laurie.

"Kids, Don't use it at home" is a bastardization of "Don't do drugs" and "Don't try this at home" and it makes no sense. What, should we do vicadin outside? If anything it's better to do it at home than anywhere else, except a medical facility. This is why Fry was the smart one

I've frequently had difficulty standing up after taking it. Freaks me out more than the euphoria is worth, and for that I will avoid getting any script for it filled in the future if I think I can get away with it.

Its fantastic (Vicodin). I took it when I was on excruciating pain and I was on cloud nine..Luckily for me, I never got addicted to it. I have never been able to completely get off of Lorazepam but am close..Very hard to do.

If you have a problem like polycystic ovary syndrome and have hell cramps, that stuff works well. They won't give it to you, but it works. I don't mean normal menstrual cramps. I mean the kind that are literally worse than actually being in labor.

Vicodin has a nice subtle warm buzz which I kind of prefer over the Oxycodone. Just sayin. Anyhoo.

Him and Stephen Fry were massive in the UK comedy scene during the 90's. edit: I recommend "A bit Of Fry and Laurie" (sketch show) and "Jeeves and Wooster" (series about a posh guy and his butler).

It really sucks that we humans get physically addicted to all the fun stuff. The second someone develops a drug or surgery which removes our capacity for physical addiction, the world turn into a higher plane of existence. Quite literally. Til then, I won't be popping any for fun.

“Play this like a three vicoden scene.” Holmes smoked and was famous for his “three-pipe problems” where the mystery was so difficult that he smoked three pipes of tobacco in the time it took him to sit and piece together the clues.

I've had Vicodin for a couple of root canals (dental work) and an extraction (OUCH). It does the job but I actually don't like it as gives me weird dreams. It beats being in a lot of pain through. Also can have the effect of giving you constipation if used for more than a few days and that's unpleasant. I can't imagine how House could manage being on the pills in an escalating dose for years. That is not living. It's existing.

I'll never understand why they prescribe such hard hitting painkillers over there. I'm from Argentina and I've had root canals, extractions and implants, and I've always took some ibuprofen, maybe ketorolac once or twice but never more than a couple of days

It always confused me why he was reliant on Vicodin, of all things, considering it isn't just a straight opiate, it's hydrocodone AND acetaminophen (paracetamol). The latter of the two has a very, very narrow toxicity window that would absolutely fry your liver. The way they showed methadone always bugged me too, as it's much stronger than hydrocodone anyway! I have several chronic pain conditions myself, and I'd never overdose on anything with acetaminophen in it, it's far too dangerous. I have to assume he takes other opiates and just calls them vicodin??
