How do you feel about USPSA allowing optic and high capacity magazines on several other divisions? I've seen thumb petal on carry optics and limited optics too.
@aaroneddins5 ай бұрын
@@toddb930 my opinion is that carry optics, limited optics, and open should be separated a little more. Carry optics should be exactly what production optics is in IPSC. Simply a production gun with a dot on the slide. Limited optics should pretty much stay the same although I’d like to see them go to 126mm or flush fitting mags. And open is perfectly fine the way it is.

Hey man, what do you think is this difference in skill with a GM that scores 98% and a GM that scores 95% in matches? what do you think makes this 3% difference in score? of course it's accuracy and speed - but I guess the real question is: how do you go faster and more accurate with a skill ceiling at that high of a percentage already.
@aaroneddins5 ай бұрын
@@GabrielTheorist it’s all about the training. I get to shoot everyday, 2-3k rounds per week. I am constantly training to get better. Proper practice will get you to the top of that skill ceiling in my honest opinion

Forward falling steel is annoying. It either falls stupidly, or if it was set wrong and when you hit it, you just set it right so you’ll lose calibration every time.

Hi Aaron, I saw you shooting some stages at the EEO2024, impressive. congratze with your results. I'm curious, if and how how would you compare the EEO match to an equivalent USPSA match? BTW: Thanks for making and sharing your videos.
@aaroneddins7 ай бұрын
Thank you and no problem! To answer your question, USPSA matches typically have a different flavor. We don’t have many short courses and we can get away with a few more mistakes as long as you are fast on the trigger. I actually prefer the IPSC style of shooting because I believe it separates the good shooters from the very good ones.
