I've been seeing a lot of these vids lately and while some shots are nothing short of witchcraft, some are just, "uh, that's a pretty basic shot". I do understand the nuances of angles of the shot as well as finishing position, but still a lot of these shots you'll see any Friday night in a bar. If someone can't do them they're very much a beginner.

Snooker so hard that potting a straight ball is a trick shot lol leaves pool for dead lets be honest pool players you have it terribly easy. like playing on a kiddy table

Are the most "naturally" talented players arrogant nob'eads (White/Ronnie/A higgins) because that's what comes with the talent or is it because someone tells them they're a genius 5 times a day?

Jimmy a knobhead? You must have very high standards in knobheadery.

Jimmy was and still is a fantastic snooker player. I’d rather watch Jimmy’s tremendous cue power in action and be thoroughly entertained than a highly technical and tactical match. Still one of the greatest players even though he has never won the World championship ( I know he’s won the seniors ). 👍👍

Jimmy could've been the GOAT if he won a world championship at the crucible.. 6 times finalist.. just one win wouldve catapulted him.. Just like what happened to Ronnie.

Earlier today (April 29th, 2024) after defeating Ryan Day 13-7, Ronnie said his current level is "mediocre, just like during the 2013 WSC, when he only played well during the very last day in the final" against Barry Hawkins. He needs to watch this compilation to remind him what "mediocre" is not, especially if he faces Stuart Bingham again in the quarterfinals.

Looking forward to seeing this guy back,a leftie who has it all,shame he got mixed up in all the shenanigans,think he’s due back 2025 at cue school……
@NorfolkEnchants5 ай бұрын
Same here, I know a lot of people won't want him back but I really do think that he was just a young guy who got mixed up in something terrible and didn't know what to do to get out of it. He deserves a chance to come back and I hope that people will support him! I will be anyway.
@MrPoopnoddy5 ай бұрын
Almost all of Trump's clever shots are after he's already won the frame. At least 90% are zero-risk because the opponent cannot come back. anyone can get a 90 point lead and twat the balls around to see what happens. Good shots? Yes. But they're empty.

They are definitely very close in terms on natural talent. If one of them is better than the other, objectively Ronnie might have the edge and i’m more of a Trump fan.

Neil plays amazing shots but luck is almost never on his side when he runs into the pack or plays a really tough shot and becomes slightly out of position...a lot of the positional play is down to Neil making sure of the pot but you see other players making sure of the pot and getting a kind kiss off something...like they meant it LOL...apart from that last shot.

I used to see Jimmy every day in Tooting, London. Lovely fella. He didn't drive, so he'd walk everywhere. You'd hear him coming before you saw him through the many calls of "Morning Jimmy!" he'd get from the locals. It was like a wave coming down the street that'd get louder the closer he came, "Morning Jimmy", "Morning Jimmy", "Alright Jimmy",... before you knew it you'd turn around and he'd be standing there. He'd always politely say goodmorning back to everyone. I've met him in a few snooker clubs over the years with his manager/mate/ex-player Tony Meo too, and was lucky enough to have a few frames with him. Even with an 80 start, he'd blow me away before the reds were gone. Top fella. An inspiration to all snooker lovers, and just a genuinely nice lad. Tooting to the bone. Shout out to the old Zans crew.

Considering how much faster the tables used to be, unless you've ever played snooker, you have no idea how much of a genius Jimmy white is. Not even Ronnie can create that sort of action on the cue ball.

I agree- how can he hit the white so hard, yet it still ends up just where he wants it and the colour zips into the pocket like it was laser controlled? I am lucky if the cue ball is within three feet of where I intended
