Also, Carlton's trainer is going through the right steps correctly. He has Carlton start off with aerobic training on the treadmill at a brisk walk of possibly 3.5mph of treadmill speed. This comes generally before resistance training.

That's right. He is supposed to be facing the other direction. He is in an incorrect position causing his neck to move forward when pulling down as it causes excessive strain to the neck. Also, a little anatomy: Shoulder Adduction = Latissimus Dorsi, Teres Major, Teres Minor, Infraspinatus, Pectoralis Major (all fibers), Triceps Brachii (long head), Coracobrachialis Elbow Flexion = Biceps Brachii, Brachialis, Brachioradialis Scapulothoracic Depression = Lower Trapezius, Serratus Anterior, Pectoralis Minor
