I wouldn’t normally pair those stays with the look, but they were the easiest to put on.

Yes. This is the 4th pair I've made with this pattern but I have tried the other pattern without tabs and I like this one more.

The Hat came from Amazon it was $14 since I knew I would be decorating it. It is a felt hat.

Graphite looks like pencil lead. With rit synthetic you're better off mixing a black yourself. Search for the rit synthetic mixing guide.

If I had used less yardage it would change the color pay out.

Yes it is even sometimes with cotton. I do like the Idye for smaller batches.

Does the iDye have a stink to it? I'm worried about vaporizing that stuff into my home for an hour...

There is a scent from it. I don't think it's stinky, but dying should always be well-ventilated when working.

It is a 1970s, but it's a convertible type from what I've been told since it has for sleeves.
