Ampm fired me because I had covid and couldn't be at work. They only care about themselves and money.

Dont know if you guys actually read these but i figured id comment anyway. I started my own company on June 10th of 2023 by the end of June i had decided that i wanted to use fullbay as customer management / billing / invoicing software. I have used fullbay to develop a unintended function on the pm tracking side to develop a one of a kind PM tracking services for my customers in the mobile service industry. My customers love the customer portal side of the fullbay making it easy to track what we are doing especially on our unique tracking program we have set out for out customers. The parts matrix with automatic parts mark ups and how the billing in general works is amazing and easy to teach to new employees. All that being we have been in business 9 months in 2 days and have already produced 1 million dollars to date being able to show customers the portal and how it works and how clean invoices are has been a huge part of how we land sales. i just wanted to say that you for helping my company White Stone Fleet Services in Cincinnati Ohio and ill see you guys in chandler AZ next month!!!

ALERT.! FULLBAY CONTACTED ME BY PHONE AND OFFERING TO TRY THE SOFTWARE FOR ONE DOLLAR FOR 30 DAYS WITH NO COMMITMENT TO CONTINUE WITH THE PROGRAM. THIS IS A TRAP WHEN THEY SEND YOU THE PAYMENT RECEIPT AT THE BOTTOM THE FINE PRINT, IT SAYS “IT IS A ONE YEAR CONTRACT, FULLBAY SENDS YOU THE RECEIPT AFTER GIVING THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD”. IF YOU CALL THEM TO CANCEL, THEY REFUSE AND CONTINUE CHARGING YOU $193.00 MONTHLY. They say you have Agreed to the Charges. THIS IS FRAUD AND MISSLEADING INFORMATION. BE AWARE.! FULLBAY, NEVER MENTIONS THAT YOU ARE ENTERING TO A CONTRACT FOR ONE YEAR WITH AUTOMATIC RENEWAL, AND YOU NEVER GET A WRITEN CONTRACT SO YOU CAN SIGN AND KNOW THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THEIR PROGRAM. THEY ARE LIARS.

Public Complaint Alert. Fullbay is a fraud, they offer you a trial of the software for one month for one dollar, but they add a clause at the end of the receipt pretending that it is a contract for one year of service WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. It is totally fraud.

Here`s a nifty fact for the guy at minute 34 who comes across as dismissive regarding pay. According to Indeed, the average diesel tech salary is 54694 per year, and the average for a babysitter/nanny is 48659. Now correct for the expenses of performing the job, such as tools. Perception is reality, but facts don't lie.

Why is it so hard for owners and managers to understand this simple concept 🤣
@adamm12843 жыл бұрын
One thing I've noticed and laugh at silently is all the owners/management I have worked with have a very set way in doing things. They think their way is the only way and if you don't follow their procedures exactly the business will fail. In the dozen shops I've worked in all have had different rules and procedures all with the same result and if I learned anything from the trade it's there are many different paths to the same solution and everyone has things that work for them. The closed mindedness and ego do nothing but belittle people. I have a saying Question the result, not the process. Mistakes aren't the end of the world and they teach more then success. Allow people to fail and they will succeed the next time. Confidence and self worth are things developed from learning and problem solving. Under no circumstance should someone be fearful of making mistakes or trying new things. Real leaders allow the people they work with to experiment and feel good about whatever stage of their career they are in. Attitude is everything, moral makes the difference between a successful shop even when shit is all over the fan. If you don't lead by example and show respect to everyone around you regardless of circumstance people can easily become malcontent and everything suffers. You can bring people out of their shells, foster creativity, and build them into better versions of themselves by doing little things to show appreciation and respect for the hard work they do. It can be as small as taking the trash out or offering to lend a hand and get dirty while allowing them to take the control. Be engaged and put value in their ideas even if you don't agree. There are no bad employees, just bad leaders. It really doesn't take alot to put people in good mindsets and they will want to work for you.

Changing shops is easy, tool boxes have wheels. All shops are the same, the work doesn't change. I can walk into any shop and be working at full capacity in a week. What's different, computer systems? Where you keep tools? I've never left a shop because of the work. I've left for pay raises and mental health. Shop owners have been the #1 reason for leaving. Shop owners are my only reason for not returning to the industry, the culture within the industry has burned me out and it's time for a break. If you can't retain technicians, look at your self. Your leadership qualities are what's in question now.

Amen brother. Many different trades need to really start treating their employees better. I work in HVAC and I don't mind fixing Air conditioners but but it drives me crazy when management does things that make the job more difficult than it needs to be.
