@@solomon1719 hmm so the Lyra-8 is very tough to master musically. It has amazing sounds, but its hard to even tune it. The sound of Lyra-8 on the video above is also massively due to the filter, Paragraphs. I dont own Hydrasynth or SmplTrek nor I will. I own Digitone I and II and they are my favourite machines ever. This and Digitakt II and you re set. The other great one is BlackBox which can multisample any VST. Killer combo.

@ yes, actually even the 1010misic Blackbox and the Digitone II would be great because essentially you can trigger multisample instruments on BB from your Digitone 2. Eg I like pianos so I have multi sampled them on my BB and can carry them with me anywhere and sequence with any Elektron. So I don’t need fancy hard synths since I multi sample my way more powerful VST synths.

@ so still quite an unfinished product for 1000 euro... Really interested in this but the 1010 Lemondrop for half the price seems more stable. It's so much smaller though...

@ not the same product, different approach completely but yes, it’s basically a product in alpha that had I known I would not had bought. When it works it’s great!

Agreed haha. I got it way back. I am lucky to have Octatrack MKII, Digitakt II, Blackbox. But you 're right, I am lucky I can even make videos with it and I am contemplaining returning it each single day.

@@gorbzzz I completely understand. As a straight up sampler, it's a bit underwhelming but as a 16 track looper/recorder and midi sequencer, it's brilliant. MPC One was way too confusing, Digitakt was cool as a straight up drum sampler... The BB just clicks for me as a crude, mini Abbleton Live. I wish that they develop a more complete future revision but the workflow is pure bliss.

Ok, so no particular reason for the BlackHole plugin vs pedal except that I could :) I have it permanently set up with the Osmose. I could indeed just use the plugin but then I was lazy to set my Electra One to control it like I do with Raum. Sonically, they are the same. As for the Oxi, I love it!

@giominor88 Ah, thanks! When I was shopping for a reverb it was a toss up between Big Sky and Black Hole. I think I may have chosen the wrong one.. 🤔

@@Probbie I think the Big sky can do similar sounds. But both of them suck compared to Meris Mercury X. I sold my BigSky.

No, the 3rd channel is totally usable it’s slightly more compressed and the gain need not be maxed out. Here I use blue channel coz I think that extended chords sound better and it’s less compressed but the gain must be pretty high. Also, the clean channel is simply amazing. Very good amp overall. It destroys my Archon…

That's awesome to hear. I'm so glad you commented on the clean channel as well. I'm about to pull the trigger on selling my lone Star and I want very badly for this to be my "everything" amp. .

@@billyhenley6968 oh yeah I play jazz standards on the clean channel as well as djenty ambient stuff in the down mode which even with very high output pups won’t really get any dirt. Also when you invoke the other mode you can do nice break up tones.
