Its a great platform to get started with. the sky is the limit as far as upgrades go. great vid hope to see more.

swap the battery to the front and your electrics to the rear. you may need a servo wire extension. It made a world of difference for me as far as stability (less front wheel hop) Still need to be easy on the throttle.

A driving style more inline with a crawler could give you some benefit, if you actually look at the design of the AX10 and how it's it set up, It's not intended as an all out crawler. Its suspension set up and drive train lend itself to more along the lines of a rock racer as i stated. So that was my approach in driving style. It can be a capable crawler, but you'll need to modify it, a higher turn motor, more droop in the suspension, and lower gearing all would help...

Looks like for crawling you could use lower gearing. Maybe 30T motor?

awesome! I see the pic you took, so yes, the full size battery can be mounted top front, or reconfigure and you can run a small competition style battery below the ESC in the lower front (for anyone too lazy to click the link), thanks a bunch! This is my next truck!

What I really would love to know is if once you put the battery tray in the bottom front (Axial said they set it up so you could do that) if you can still use a 2s full size lipo or if you then must revert to smaller "crawler" type lipos in the 2000mah range.. Keep up the good work!

I love the video, awesome unboxing and review, can you please comment on if you can mount a full size stick pack (2s lipo say... 5000mah hard-case) in the forward battery mounting position? It shows on the box the battery mounting positions, but you did not zoom in enough for me to be able to see the configurations, also PLEASE make a crawling / running video? IMO it would be silly to make a bashing video as this is made to be a crawler / rock racer kinda thing, but plz!! Can't wait, subbed!!!
