How should I put it. Oem Spark stereo. It’s milking a bull. Yes, something come out, but has weird consistency.

PSA: CHECK THESE SETTINGS ON YOUR PHONE (especially if you have static/ground loop noise/ hiss) 1) If you streaming from Spotify, go to "Settings & Privacy", then Playback. a) Change the volume level from normal to loud. b) go into equalizer, and change to "small speakers". 2) For phone itself - Go into Settings - Sounds - Headphone safety. Make sure you don't have Head Phone safety volume turned on. THIS WILL SEVELY LIMIT THE VOLUME and force you to max out the volume on the amp, which will give you the hiss. 3) lower the volume on the jetski stereo (on the amp controller), and bring the volume on the phone all the way up. This way you don't have to run the amp "louder".

Did this exact install. Do you have some buzz when power on. Doesn’t get louder with volume but if music pauses hear some static/humm
@speedministry6556
@speedministry6556 4 ай бұрын
hmmm, interesting. No, no buzz for me. What you are describing - sounds like a ground loop, usually happens when something is not grounded right. It can also happen when you have random interference somewhere. make sure that your 12V feed and ground are straight from and to battery terminals, and that terminals are not oxidized. One other thing to try - 1) If you streaming from Spotify, go "Settings & Privacy", then Playback. a) Change the volume level from normal to loud. b) go into equalizer, and change to "small speakers". 2)lower the volume on the jetski stereo (on the amp controller) 3) bring the volume on the phone all the way up. Try this. Usually, the static noises become more audible when the source (phone) volume is low, and your amp's volume is too high (more technical - Google gain setting). Cause technically amp amplifies (excuse the shitty pun) whatever you feed it, meaning if there is some static/noise, it will make it a lot more audible.

If all that fails, try powering the amp from a different battery outside of the ski. if the noise is still there - claim a refund on the amp or replacement. at the end of the day, chinesium is great, but it's still chinesium. Also, give us an update when you tried it. This video gained about X10000 times more traction than i thought it would, with confirmed at least 50+ installs, so whatever trouble you having, most likely someone else will have the same glitch. Comment section usually has real answers to problems :)

I actually got another one from Amazon. It does the same thing so I’m a little disappointed. It’s weird.

@@RC-zn1pn have you tried adjusting the volume on your phone? Another fun one from a bloke in Ireland - he had that hiss and though the speakers. Turns out he had 2 things - 1. Needed that trick with Spotify equalizer (a couple comments above this) 2. For Iphone itself - Go into Settings - Sounds - Headphone safety. His Volume was clipped at 50%. So to hear any music on the ski, he had to max out the volume on the amp. I've tried the same thing, and, sure enough, if the source volume is low and clipped, and you wind up the Chinesium Velex all the way up, she has an uncomfortable hisssssssss.

I wanted to know if 6x9 speakers will fit where you put the kicker 6.5??? BTW great video and loved the humor 👍👍👍👍

Thank man:) I did actually toy with the idea of 6X9, but the 2 core issues killed the idea for me. 1. Doing a cut out for 6x9 requires a lot of patience and precision, and I'm really not the arts and crafts guy. 2. Finding a CHEAP and WATERPROOF combo of a beefy amp to drive beefy 6x9 proved to be nearly impossible. Most of the 6x9 are rated for silly power, and you do not want to underdrive the speakers. Also, all powerful amps were massive for application. But, in all honesty, just didnt want to spend massive $ on the set up. 2a. Structural strength -Purely theoretical - Having a round hole will introduce less chances of hull flex. Maybe i smoked too much and that issue exists only in my head and fairies are not real.

Ive done few installs for customers since then, and trick is to buy the holders without tape on them, and attach them with polyurethane. no issues otherwise.

How often do you charge the battery? I have 2 kickers and a 4 channel amp and I originally got low voltage issues after a couple hours riding. Now I charge the battery after every ride. Have you considered a secondary battery?
@speedministry6556

just came back from holidays, put on 18 hours of riding with max volume, not a single charge. But i did replace the stock trash battery with higher CCA AGM one :) these days, my go-to is lithium Ion. They came down in price quite nicely.

No issues for me, but I have AGM battery. Generally speaking will have it on trickle charger once a month, but thats just a habit for all my skis/ buggy/ racecars.

How does the bass sound without an enclosure? Would you say same, better or worse than stock sea-doo sound system?
@speedministry6556
@speedministry6556 Жыл бұрын
Hey. Bass, by definition, requires enclosure. Otherwise you will end up with nothing but high frequency. stock sea-doo sound system - Which one? Bit better than on on RXT, 10 times better than a clip on spark one.
