His BODYFAT literally saved him from dying......it kept him afloat and his body insulated.......otherwise hyperthermia wouldve set in quicker had he been skinnier........i know this because I've seen it first hand whe we rescued a middle aged man whose boat had overturned a few kms out in the water....he had been floating for 12hours hoping for someone to see him.....we did and we got him safely home.....he was a big man and the water we pulled him from was freezing......he was shaken and a little cold but overall in high spirits......he was lucky coz we almost didn't leave the dock due to weather....we chanced it and the rest is history

Ok, intresting story but the show has a lot of mistakes......Everything indicates that he is in The brazilian Amazon, like the dog named cachorro( dog in portuguese)( perro in spanish) and called by him cashew..second, cachaca bottle,brazilian spirit... and the people speaking spanish with mexican accent makes no sense, since if he were in spanish speaking amazon the accent would be dffirent.... no respect for different latino cultures, typica idea l below mexico is all the same...

Only a true Bostonian could ever survive such an epic ordeal! 🙏🏼 This is a real reminder to anyone going through tough times, which unfortunately most people are currently, that it indeed could always be 1000000x worse. The will to simply survive is ingrained in every human being and survive we shall! 💪🏼 Also want to add; what a great performance by this actor depicting this true story. Top notch! 🌟
