Do you understand the duty of the party whip ?, his job is to maintain party discipline and to "whip"/keep legislative members of his party in-line. His job is to maintain the party loyalty and sustain the party's guiding principles; so the action of Ndume is very much unbecoming and I support his removal thou he should have been politely and privately asked to step down. The replacement of the party whip should never have made it to the senate chamber as it's an intra-party issue. Ali Ndume has now been heavily disciplined in each of the last four legislative assemblies even under a militant Saraki he managed to offend his pairs with his unguarded public utterances that bring the senate to disrepute.
