@@kman5330 Nice. Yep, pretty wolfish type of dog. And a black wolf like this one looks a bit dog-like, since all black wolves got their color by a cross with dogs somewhere in their lineage. So yes, black wolves and shepherd dogs do look rather similar!

@@PlainsPup yep ...black is not a natural wolf color. Around children he's mrs.doughtfire ....runs with his tail straight down snd once in a while you can see he steps in his own prints. He uses his body to steady people up or down steep slopes . I've learned a lot about the difference between dogs and wolves....i took a cross country trip with him and I'm pretty sure he's the only one to surf in a dog surfing competition. ...good times

The hosts tell you how awful fur is while wearing leather....please tell me what the difference is?
@PlainsPup
@PlainsPup 3 жыл бұрын
Herbivores are necessarily an order of magnitude more abundant than carnivores. Hunting carnivores for fur brings their populations dangerously low, and steel jaw traps are very painful and cruel. In contrast, hunting wild herbivores or rearing domestic ones for meat and other products (like leather) can be done sustainably, and they can be dispatched quickly. In addition, because we now have other materials, we do not require fur from carnivorans to keep warm anymore. However, predatory animals like humans and wolves (wild and domestic, i.e. dogs) still need meat for sustenance, and we get that from herbivores; leather is part of that system. Finally, we have intimate relationships with dogs and cats, so it is easy to see how their relatives (other carnivorans like wolves, bears, raccoons, bears, etc.) suffer when persecuted. Herbivores like cattle or deer, on the other hand, are not part of our social network, and so it is more acceptable to use them as a resource, provided they are dispatched as humanely as possible.
