For everyone thinking that this is not Ju-Jutsu: This is a German martial art known here as Ju-Jutsu and internationally referred to as German jiu-jitsu. It's a mix of Karate, Judo, Aikido and a few others and was made as a self-defense system for the German police in the 1960s. This kind of competion works like the following: There are three phases: In part 1, you try to get as many points by scoring atemi (striking) techniques as possible. In part 2, you try to get your opponent to the ground, a good throw gives you more points than a bad one. Part 3 is on the ground where you try to have your opponent touch the ground for a certain amount of time. If you succeed or your opponent stands up again, it goes back to part 1. This goes on for three minutes and the fighter with the most points wins the fight. The fights are in light contact.

@Tim Scholz there definetly is traditional japanese jiu jitsu and it was brought to germany in 1906 by Erich Rahn. Ju-Jutsu however is a more modern approach to the same thing. It shares the same core tho. The traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu that everything that came after it is based on was established around 1660.
@DmdMixZ3 жыл бұрын
@@josef4297 it is Ju Jutsu, a modern, german deriviation of Aikido and Judo which both originated from traditional japanese Jiu Jitsu. So in it's core it is Jiu Jitsu but it's not BJJ, which is much more popular nowadays.

+Erorikok98 That has nothing in common with Jujutsu in jujutsu there are three principles : getting in in the area of the enemy, break his balance and control This video only shows how these people cant master these principles Thats only jumping without making sense
@alkololer1v6548 жыл бұрын
+Erorikok98 you know its quite sad that people like you dont know where the tchniques from your german jujutsu came from and that there isnt only your jujutsu but still koryu(many people training german jujutsu think their jujutsu is the only one everybody trains around the world
@Erorikok988 жыл бұрын
Alkololer 1V First things first, I train Swedish Ju-jutsu so i'm well aware that there exist more then one stile of jujutsu my friend. Secondly the style I practise is focused on self defence and mastery of the techniques, while this is more focused at competition. Finally when you have two trained jujutsukas fighting against each other like this, the techniques gets a bit hasty. Jujutsu is formed to deal with a singel attack as in a battlefield, not so much as in a one on one fight with two guys jumping infront of each other like a boxing mach. And for your notice, I do know about Ju-jutsu's history and how it came to the west.
