You can always use the microwave as I did on my last sailboat I attached a line to the handle of the microwave and a small float on the other end of the line to mark the sandbar near the channel entering the harbor that boats with any keel need to avoid steer away from the float that looks like a crab trap. If someone pulls up the crab trap they will find a useless box on the other end.

Why do you need an arch for swimming? Unless you need it to lift dive-tanks out of the water…

Is Fontaine Pajot and Garcia Exploration the same company? I know they are both built in France but I am seeing references to both in the videos I am watching. I understand that they are both top shelf as far as sailboats go but I was considering buying one or the other because I’m not sure if I want to make the cross over from monohull to multihull yet. To me money is not a handicap my biggest handicap is time. Or the wait to get under way.

Ce bateau comme beaucoup de ses concurrents sont conçus pour aller du port à la première crique : juste pour faire un repas une petite sieste un peu de nage autour et revenir s’amarrer pour passer la soirée en regardant les badeaux sur le quai. A aucun moment les concepteurs ne pensent aux transocéaniques. Je n’irai pas à Nouméa depuis La Rochelle avec ce studio superbe.

Such a nice boat...but the white is horrible...the protruding fridge and strange seat also horrible. 40 foot boats only need 1 head, and 1 separate shower.

This is the best, go anywhere sailboat ever made. Aluminium, lifting keel, great solar power, central anchor chain locker, well insulated , radiators in all rooms, 2500 litres of tank etc etc etc. The best of the best!

Seems to be a boat designed for people with IBS, so I'm guessing the gap in that seat is to accommodate some kind of bucket for dropping the kids off at the pool, just in case you can't make it to one of the multiple kharzis

Très bonne revue du Garcia Exploration 60 (doublée en français et en anglais) en cours de finition. Mais ce dernier modèle 60 (FIORE) est sorti en aout 2022. Pourquoi ça prend tant de temps pour avoir une revue complète du bateau ? Les propriétaires Hollandais de ce Garcia Exploration 60 ont posté des photos du bateau sur Instagram. Nous attendons avec impatience une vidéo détaillée de ce dernier Garcia (anglais ou français) très bientôt. Merci !

This electric boat will use more diesel to feed the batteries to power the "electric" engines than any catamaran that can actually sail well. Love the idea, but the technology still is not there yet to make this viable for anything other than a coastal cruiser. It is telling that no reviews provide any real-world data for how long a boat could motor into 15kt wind to get it off a lee shore in an emergency situation. Great party charter boat though for sure and it will sell like hotcakes!
