the most overrated and boring cinderella run ever 😂 one cool win in kansas and nothing else were even good programs or teams that year. "we're not done" yes you were done immediately after that quote from smart 😂just like his run at vcu and his time being a good coach in general 😂😂😂

Lol Bilas can suck it. Still acts like this wasn't a great Cinderella years later. Vitale has been a great sport about it though, even came into town once to sign a big banner that said 'Eat Crow, Baby!' haha. This was the turning point for VCU as a program, really elevated our profile and we couldn't be where we are today without this 2011 run.

As a big time Dayton fan i will giv u this, in my opinion, this 11 seed vcu in 2011 who beat 1 seed kansas was better than 11 seed dayton who lost to 1 seed florida in 2014. But thats about it.

Watched VCU from the 70s (remember Gerald Henderson) through the 80s (Sun Belt days beating ODU)... Ramnation has come a long way... VCU now a national powerhouse Love it! go coach Smart!
