Bought one. Returning it after 3 hrs use. No buttond on the side, and no touch function to make up for it. Ended up having to use my bluetooth keyboard, awkwardly placed on the side, getting more and more frustrated as time went by, realizing my fuckin 15yo BAMBOO is more useful than this overpriced piece of shit! Wtf is the point of this when you have have peripheral hardware anyway?? Then I looked up the version that does include touch function… for 1000 dollars more. I’m done.

I completely failed at this back in the 80's. Dry india ink won't go on the paper. Maybe I'm just too slow, but my quills were made of two pieces and would not have been possible to clean like this. Still confused.

It is awesome to see you back at it @JIMMY REYES ART! I'm sorry to hear you've had health issues. I was introduced to Whim Hoff breathing a few months ago to deal with stress. If you haven't done any of it (Box Breathing is part of it) I highly recommend it. Be well. Definitely don't let trolls dictate what you should do with your project. Great story telling is the basis of good comic books.

Cover for book 2 looks great Jimmy. Has the feel of a Star Wars movie poster to it with the collage.

Nice video. Ironically the best paper I ever used was AquaBee ledger. I don't remember the exact weight but it was thicker than standard copy paper. Inked everything on it when I was in school because it was cheap. I remember Joe Kubert was shocked that I could ink like that on it especially with a 102 and never had issues. I will say though that I purchased that paper a few years later and it was absolute garbage. But for a while I choose that over Bristol. Most of my ink samples were on that for a while since it was thin enough I could easily see pencils on a light box compared to bristol board. Did use vellum for some jobs when the penciler wanted to keep the pencils but alway like the look I got on that ledger paper. Slick lines but also had some great drybrush for a smoother surface. One thing I will say is the blacks looked much better on the ledger even after erasing. But this 30 years ago and the india ink was far more rich compared to what I've found today. I don't even use india ink for spot blacks anymore.

Nice stuff, Jimmy! Seems like everyone's leaning back toward more traditional work these days -- myself included. I'm going to have to hit you up for some video tech tips. Your presentation here looks great.

That's what I don't like about digital inking, it looks too clean. Love the look of traditional ink. Glad to see you doing it. Looking forward to Dragonrage! Keep up the great work Jimmy!

Much respect, Jimmy. Love the work ethic, the content and the low key sense of humor. Also, the traditional inks are where it's at. You've got a clear way of explaining technique with an ASMR worthy delivery. Keep the vids coming.

Now that the inflammation is down you can use a temporary filling to cover the area that can get infected again by getting food in it. I don't have health insurance so that's what I do. You have to go several hours without eating while the filling sets up but then it will last for several months. You don't want to pack it in though. It needs moisture to setup in so packing it prevents it from setting up properly. I hope this helps you or that you have a better solution ❤

I wanted to do the opposite of what you have done here. I find the non photo blue really annoying because it fades right into the white paper and I can't see the artwork at all. 😢 But I have a few art books that use these blue line comics pages for exercises and I'd like to darken them so that I can see what I'm doing. Normally I've used levels but it picks up the texture of the paper and gets way too dark. Your method was much more helpful so thanks. It still wasn't perfect but much nicer than what I could figure out myself. 👍🏻

Hi, I was about to buy the brush set, the subtotal is $10 but when I'm paying the total changes to $12,20. Can I know why? Is it the website's fees or the price has come up? (Still didn't proceed with the purchase cause I put only the $10 needed for the transaction in the card) Thanks

Hi, What should I do in the settings in Paint Studio so that the contour line in A4 format, 300 dpi, (size value in mm) is straight and the contour teeth are not visible?

I'm sorry, it's probably because I'm translating into English via google tranlator, what I mean is that as I zoom in or out of a drawing drawn in contour line it loses quality, the lines start to be jagged.@@JimmyReyesArt
