@@noahmaren9864 of course you can still hike it. Even if you hike alone you will encounter other people on this trail too 👍🏻 It’s not a super intense trail but do be prepared for the slipperiness and muddy conditions.Even if you don’t make it up to the peak just go as far as you can and hike a distance that you’re comfortable with.

Great video. Hopefully, you'll be able to hike up to the summit some time. That was one of the most spiritual hikes I've done in the SF BA. Ohlone and Miwok Indians thought it was the center of the world, where creation happened from.

I loved Nan. It has its own artistic styles, since it was remote from Chiang Mai, the center of the Lan Na Kingdom. And a distinct Thai culture, called Tai Lu, settled there from Yunnan. I really enjoyed the unique cultural blends.

Very helpful video. Which month did you do the trek? I'm wondering if a sleeping bag would be a good idea for December. Also, do you happen to know if a guide was required? I know there is that new rule, but I hear that it is not being enforced. Thank you.
@gowithlyn99283 ай бұрын
@@justinbecker4976 Hello 👋🏻. I trekked in March and it was my first time as a beginner. I don’t think it’s necessary to have a sleeping bag but it would be nice to have. If you have the space to carry it or you’re utilizing a porter than definitely take one. For me, I just didn’t take one for the sake of space and I was carrying my own pack and didn’t want to add weight 😀. In terms of utilizing a trekking guide, we did encounter a few people who didn’t utilize one cause they were experienced with the territory. If it’s your first time visiting the area, I highly recommend you use a guide just for your own safety 👍🏻

@@gabrielecartabaggiana I went in March so the weather was around 3 to 5 degree celsius but it can vary. Definitely it was superrr cold so make sure to bring thick layers.
