Hey, as we are from England, we always went to Cooke either in early May or late Sept early October. We always stayed in the Sida Butte lodge or over in Cody at the Big Bear motel. We’ve also stayed in Pahaska Tepee on three occasions !

Dominick Petersen hi Dominick, we are from England and found and fell in love with Cooke City back in 2013. We went back and stayed at the Soda Butte Lodge on five occasions. The owners then were Randy and Rae Ann and the staff...far too many to mention but included, Nettie, Lorraine, Kenny, Ben etc, treated us like friends and we had a fantastic time. What a fabulous place it was to stay. Yep, great memories for us. We took a photo using our drone of Cooke City which I’d love to send you if I can find a way !

DesanShirl well I’m not allowed to share my number or anything and o don’t have social media but if you wanted to make a video displaying the bueatyful little town then I would totally watch it would be interesting to see and some of those names sound familiar my dad was talking about when he lived they’re for a long time and mentioned some of those names to me and how he would drive a snow machine to work every day to get there Because he worked There but for a while before my mother moved from tin with some friends after high school he told me about a bar that his mom owned and stuff like that but anyways it would be the only way that I know of without getting in trouble

I’ve seen that you said you were from England and I would like to ask if it is pretty over there, like if there’s any place there that had you attached to it like Cooke city Montana and what brought you here to the states if I may ask just wondering I’ve never met anyone from out of the country 😀

OMG, i spent 8 months in Cooke City back in 2008! It was great time working at Soda Butte and Miners Saloon! Just found your video and now i have that nostalgic mood ... thanks a lot!

DesanShirl aren’t they Beautiful all the crabbers and longliners you could try and paint them on day I would love to visit Portland again went when I was small but it seems to be a raise my mind!

@@deshog999 yes, i did hear a british accent, wonderful, make sure to check out the cascades in washington state, and the grand tetons in woming, and also Telluride colorado if you can because the scenery is equally beautiful as this one. Telluride is called the switzerland of USA 👌😍

nahavandi89 we’ve been to the Grand Teton range several times...wow, they are stunning. Have also been to Washington state, Seattle and the Olympic range.
