Thank you for this very interesting lecture! Now I have some great resources tailored to the ED, rather than the somewhat different context of perioperative analgesia. I'd like to ask if you have any experience with ESPB, or any other block, performed on the lumbar level for lumbago. I think it'd be elegant if we had some better non-narcotic analgesia for these patients.

In plane seems like a rookie move. Just follow the tip of the needle out of plane - it will ensure you aren’t going to hit a side wall.
