I have a friend who threw a clot right after giving birth and nearly died. She had been complaining to her OB for weeks before giving birth that she wasn't feeling well and was dismissed. She was in the hospital for weeks on an ECMO machine keeping her alive while her husband was trying to deal with her situation, a six-year-old and a newborn. Meanwhile, her OB suddenly was AWOL. She recovered, but it could have easily gone the other way. Obviously, there could not be any more babies after that.

President Carter was always authentic & honest. He was "everyday people" & quite relatable. He had morals & values & continued to embrace them. He never compromised on the person that he was. He told the truth always & stood by whatever statements he made, just as his late wife, Rosalynn, did. He will be missed, but, never forgotten!❤❤

I am a retired Sworn Peace Officer. In all my years associated with Law Enforcement, I have never seen ANYTHING like how improperly this case was handled. This investigation was compromised from the start when the Supervisor in command allowed the parents to have access (in reality deny access) to the Suspect. Let me count the ways: (1) Allowing the parents into the Crime Scene (2) Allowing the parents - particularly Daddy - to interject themselves into the investigation and give instructions to their daughter on what to do/how to answer questions (3) Allowing her sibling to have unrestricted access to the Crime Scene and walking around and filming the deceased victim (4) Not administering a Preliminary Breath Test at the crash site (5) Allowing the parents to transport the Suspect to the UHP Substation (particularly agreggious) (6) Allowing Daddy in the room/access to the Suspect when she is being read Implied Consent and providing a Breath Sample (7) Not being booked into Jail but instead releasing her to her parents after being charged with Vehicular Homicide and DUI. This woman was 23 years old at the time of the offense. She is an ADULT and Mommy/Daddy have no legal right to be present or have access to her. The Sgt who was the On-Scene Commander should have been fired for all the mistakes made and how this case was compromised.
