Did you stay at Dublin One hotel? Was it close to the city centre and safe to walk back at night?

Hi Jaye if you are still in vietnam, could you please check with someone and confirm when thier official labor and cafes and torusit attractions will shut down during TET festival which is scheduled on 22jan ,2023. I have checked online it 20-26Jan. and we have planned our trip on 15-22jan. so just worried if I should pre-opne or postpont it due to fear of everything getting shut down during our visit

I was in Dublin for 3 weeks for work. Love the city and the surrounding country side. Had too many Guiness's and Bulmers when I was there. LOL....

Vietnamese are quite straightforward and no etiquette with regards to age, sex, physical appearance....I had not met a friend for some years, first thing he said "wow, you look so old". LOL...but usually they don't mean anything malicious. Don't take it personally. Enjoy your holiday. Thanks for sharing.
