Hello , I need help , I fix my own stuff but this has me beat , 98 Mitsubishi pajero / montero lwb gls , I have no top brake light and no rear wiper , i have turn signals , bottom brake lights work , I have tested the bulbs and the cluster and fuses , I hit a huge pot hole smelled some plastic burn, lost my alternator the A/T light battery light came on was down to 9v I replaced with new one thats all good but I can't find why brake and rear wiper won't work , is there a relay or something obvious or secret im missing ? any ideas? Would massively appreciate any wisdom I'm not usually one to ask but I have to admit I can't work it out .

I believe after the car heats up a couple of times the seat covers will expand contract and fit better.

The phase switch is in case you wired it backwards. If you have a speaker out of phase, it will cancel out the soundwaves and give you a massive headache. And sound awful.

I would definitely leave the headrest cover off lol. it is ugly

Thanks for the vid, just did this job. To remove the hard to reach thermostat bolts, use a u-joint socket and extension. An adjustable head socket wrench also advisable depending on how many hoses/lines are in your way. Removing the semi-seized hoses was the most annoying part.

Super clear, straight to the point, and made it simple enough for even an idiot like me to do the job with confidence.

At 6'3" tall, there's no way I could mount that sub behind my seat! I have to have the seat all the way back all of the time. If you really dive into a 2006 Miata, you will find that there's a big plastic spacer under the carpet, in the very front of the passengers side floor. It's to give passengers an "end" so their feet have something to rest on. If you take that spacer out, which is very simple, that's a perfect place to mount this sub. Yes, it does take up a small amount of the passengers side foot room. But, I rarely have a passenger, and when I do, the foot room works out just fine! My brother's 6'2" tall and has no problem being a passenger. Another plus, the bass response is reinforced by the almost hole you are putting it in, and it allows for the bass wave to expand a little bit...travel a bit, as that is the farther=st away from the drivers head you can get the sub. So, in the very front of the passengers side foot area, you get quite a bit of extra travel for the bass wave, so it sounds better, HAS NONE OF THE RATTLES this reviewer had, and is easy to mount with the included straps. For a more hidden look, I wrapped the sub with some black burlap type of thick weave speaker cloth. Very durable, so people can rest their feet on the sub, but it still looks good and makes the sub completely disappear into the interior. I think it is a much, much better placement option than this reviewer used. Especially because I couldn't begin to even use that space he used. And, you are always gonna have some rattles mounting to plastic, which I couldn't stand even the slightest of. I do highly suggest this sub in a Miata, as it does give a good amount of deep bass to a car that other wise wouldn't be able to have a subwoofer.

I honestly would do an upgrade NOT a downgrade like that, these cars have a big mounting bracket for an 8" speaker and a tweeter, putting coaxials in there does NOT make it sound better, here is what fits in there. www.crutchfield.com/p_091ISU200/Focal-ISU-200.html?tp=105

Dude, save yourself the hassle of disconnecting the locking mech...... Use a pry tool & lift it away from the door card, it then simply pulls back thro the hole!

You have to know that first of all I never understood the comparison with the ML folded motion tweeter which has 8 too 10 times the surface (depending on the model) area as as the klipsch 1 inch (I write it out too make it look bigger) tweeter and how it can show more detail and clarity than the ML tweeter I just feel the 1 in anything is behind the times basically that's it we can haggle on mid range speaker performance. But in the end they lose on clarity and detail
