Why to convert only a part amount of INR to THB and remaining to USD rather than coverting whole INR to THB at India itself?

Hi, If you conver large amount of INR to THB, you will end up giving more on conversion as compared to USD and USD is acceptable universally. Even if you have some USD left after completing your trip, you can easily exchange in India at better rate than THB

But i am confused about their luggage allowance like, 1) My Laptop bag is included or not in 7kg cabin bag ? 2) I got 40 kg baggage allowance in the flight so can i put it into 2 bags of 20kg or i have to put all the luggagein one single bag?
