@@stekenney Why would the last number represent the month? That doesn't make sense. As I'm sure you know, the format is the logical YYYY-MM-DD format. Look up ISO 8601. If the date of broadcast is 22nd November 2000, how do you suggest that it is written in numerical form? Are you suggesting that I SHOULD use the American format of MM-DD-YYYY?

This was further backed up by your feigned misunderstanding, when you said there was no 22nd month, meaning you thought the last segment of 2000-11-22 could be misinterpreted to represent the month. Do you see that you were wrong, now? It couldn't be written in an American format because, as you quite rightly pointed out, there is no 22nd month. I choose to use 2000-11-22, a standard, internationally agreed date format. Your second suggestion of 22/11/2000 would also make some sense. I'm not sure what you mean by 'Use the format it was broadcast in'. It was broadcast in 4:3 or PAL or 525 lines or stereo or analogue. I don't think it was broadcast in a date format, unless you can tell me otherwise? Always willing to learn.

@@-TheLaughingStock- It was broadcast, on television! Thousands of people saw it so I didn't really need to spot it. I only had to watch it, record it, store it and upload it. Simple. Although it's odd to think that although thousands of people will have seen this being broadcast, this is probably the only recording of it in existence. If I hadn't recorded it and kept it, a record of this moment may not exist except for in the transient collective memories of my fellow viewers at the time. Once the last of us died, or somehow forgot this moment, it would be as if it never happened. For now, we have KZbin and so this historic moment can be kept in recorded form and you can show it to your children long after I've gone. One day KZbin will fall and this incident will be lost from collective human history forever. It makes you think, doesn't it?
