When Carbon Tax Carney's name started to float around about 2 years ago (I believe before PP was elected the new Conservative leader) as a successor to J Castro, I immediately was concerned because this guy was a lot of things JC was not. JC had the right last name & hair !!! However, CTC had what most would suggest to be a VERY Good Resume / PM material. The good news might be that judging by his launch in Edmonton, he is not a 'Politician' and almost a Michael Ignatieff where the person is 'too intellectual' and is not used to speaking to the 'commoners'. CTC is great with 'Davos / WEF Speak' sitting in a chair and supposedly being important while pontificating about their 'Vision' for the world with other 'Special & Smart Thinkers' !!! CTC has hung around the Davos / WEF crowd for WAY TOO LONG and due to this, he supports what they support. Those of us that can add 1 + 1 to equal 2, I believe see the direction we are headed vs the 'sheeple' who are baffled by the B.S. spewed from 🤡🤡🤡 like CTC !!! [email protected] There is a lot happening and a truly important time in history. I can offer to learn about the work of Neil Howe & Wm Strauss who wrote Generations and Fourth Turning in the 90's. Mr. Strauss has passed but Mr. Howe has many interviews and his own video's on YT. The update version of Fourth Turning was released July 2023 so there are many more recent interviews. Having said that, His older interviews are still very worthwhile. Neil is very intelligent and can speak well over many disciplines / understands the 'Big Picture'. well it would definitely be helpful to know if politicians used them... i'm not opposed to them using drugs and working in government, but i think we should know if they have a serious problem/addiction. its tough cause it interferes with their privacy... but it makes sense for the canadian people to at least know about it

if Trump imposes a tariff on Canadian imports, American business are less likely to continue buying from Canadian exporters, so Canadian businesses/Canadian exporters would no longer have the American customers. Yes in a way it would encourage domestic trade in Canada, forcing Canada to be more self reliant. American consumers would likely see more expensive goods.

so basically upside for Canada: potentially more self reliance downside for Canada: less customers upside for america: more self reliance and government revenue downside for america: more expensive goods for comsumers

yes. i can't stand to see them try to adopt conservative concerns in an attempt to appeal to voters across the spectrum. the party should support what they believe, not what is popular, then the citizens get to choose who they agree with
