Millionaires Row, Packard Plant, beautiful art deco skyscrapers, 1.8 million peak population. There's so much proof that Detroit used to be one of the greatest and richest cities in the world

Dearborn WAS a great city. We gave our parents a room at the Hyatt when it opened as an Anniversary gift. They loved it.

I remember visiting this hotel Convention Center in the late 90s. I just found out it was an Edwards hotel and apparently has been shut down due to violations. It was such a great fixture and so sad to see it close down now

Toronto Blue Jays hotel in the 80's...just drive along Michigan to Tiger Stadium. Excellent night club at the top! There was also a monorail from the hotel to the mall.

What’s taller the top of the ambassador bridge or the renaissance centre? Because if you think about it and stand next to it the ambassador bridge is pretty tall.

One huge weakness of the DTW is the lack of any public transportation lines connecting it to the city. No transportation whatsoever. Unacceptable by any standards other than American.
