@@50dacans great question, I didn’t go in depth of the syncing process.. it’s a bit difficult to add songs you didn’t buy. Most of my songs in my iTunes app have been a collection over the years from actual CDs I’ve bought. There are converting websites that exist (like turning KZbin videos into mp3 files) but unfortunately that process is illegal. I was also shared a few folders of random songs from my friends and those conversion websites were probably how they got their .mp3 files :( i hope this helps.
