However the mustang is a car that will always hold a place in my heart especially the ones from the late sixties and early seventies

Ram air isn't really an engine but a system for rushing cool air in used by most manufacturers and the after market... got fairly common added to '65 GTO by owners and later the factory because the scoop was already on the hood...

How about the fire bird formula? I really liked the 2 scoop hood. I would like to see a comparison of it and the T/A

That’s what we need to see again, not the crap that their trying pass on as a real man’s car . GM at its best before going into the toilet.

My favorite thing about the Judge was the exhaust bypass, or dumps.

Nice to see a site about Pontiac GTO's and Firebirds and Trans am cars. I never owned one but my cousin was a 67-69 Firebird nut. He had a 69 Trans am with the ram air 4 heads. It was a convertable which are pretty rare. I think they only made 671 of them. He sold it in pieces which was sad but got 100k for it that way. He still has a 67 and a 68 Firebird which he will never get rid of. Long ago he also had a 68 GTO that was pretty cool. It really hauled ass. Me I like the 68 Firebirds. I hated the new 1970 body style they came out with. Just thought they ruined the shape of them. Those 400 and 455ci motors were great.

I started with GM Engineering in August 1966 and was walking through the factory floor jam packed with machinery when I stumbled across a little clearing about 50' by 50' and there was something I had never seen before: the not yet released '67 Camaro coupe... it looked like the perfect car for young 18 year old me! I still remember it was gold with gold interior, 327" 2 bbl. carb. 210 HP V8, 3 on the floor, bucket front seats... although I would have ordered different colors... and a convertible... That Yenko Camaro at 03:10 was quick, "covering the 1/4 mile in 3 1/2 seconds"... LOL! ... yep, 'scaring the rail jobs'...

The 67 Shelby Super Snake was a true legend. 600 hp 428 and 488 ft lbs of torque. This car demonstrates the durability of the 428 CJ and in 1967 nothing could take it. It was one of one. The 428 was considered inferior to the 427. Ol Shel wanted to validate the 428 CJ and he proved his point. Cube is Cubes. Ford durability was 2 nd to none. I have done 428s that could make 700 hp and spin to 7000 rpm’s. I would like to see Bill Cosbys twin Paxton Supercharged 427 FE Cobra Roadster.
