Thankfully , the Stones remained largely true to the Delta roots that inspired their formation, foregoing the "flower power" nonsense.

Schöne Harmonien. Stones herrlich 70er.
@DeD00RS3 күн бұрын

Considering this was an off-the-cuff song that was made merely to get themselves kicked off the label, it's pretty great!

Yep. They had been going out quite a while by then , to quote" Mrs" Jagger. From around her 13th birthday... This is unbelievable really. Today Bill would be having a long holiday at His Majesty's Pleasure. The guests were, except for the great Charlie, running with the situation. Imagine Liam Gallagher dating a fourth former...it just couldn't happen. The world would erupt, and , anyway , Liam WOULDN'T

Bill's bass tone sounds like a melodic, small tympani ... notes coming up for air beneath the surface.

Oftentimes the first take is the best, Brian Jones was still the leader of the band even though he was fading fast, when he was on he made the rest of the band play better, but being in the Stones was like swimming with sharks, and Brian got eaten alive.
