Showering outside in a dry lake bed on a Tuesday morning may not seem like much . . . But it makes me SO HAPPY. What little things in YOUR LIFE right now make you happy? In that pure, simple, little kid sort of way!

These are a few of my favorite things . . . about bus life: SLOW MORNINGS No mortgage to stress over Low cost of living means we have to spend less time working. Getting to decide what each day will look like. If we don't like where we live, we simply move. (without the headache of moving) Deep friendships We get to vacation on the beaches Mexico all winter for less than it costs to live in the US. Our time with our families is very intentional and meaningful. There's truly so much more.

Seen you respond to a few subtle and not so subtle comments regarding your weight. My brother died at 43 from a heart attack because of this. Body positivity advocates also died from the same thing. It's not being mean just for the fun of it. You two seem happy, do what's needed to keep things that way.

We are very happy. And these people do not care in any way about me, or my health. And none of them have been kind. My body is none of their business. I'm sorry you lost your brother. I may be overweight, but I am active and take care of myself, which is no one's business. The men spewing hate at me don't need you to defend them.

There is! Peace Corps has been in Morocco since 1963! :) We did our 2 year service in Agdz and then moved to Marrakech where we lived for another 5 years. We miss Morocco every day.
