For me this basically started his drop in form. He never recovered mentally from this for a year and his performances in 2011 reflected well

It was absolutely legal. In 2010 there were no additional clarifications regarding the final lap. Once they passed the safety car line, Michael was allowed to overtake. There was a reason the FIA clarified the rules after this race! But of course Hill was on the stewards' panel, so Michael got a penalty.

Funny to read in the comments his records at the time in which the comments were written, that have now (January 2023) already been surpassed. Even at this young age here Hamilton seemed to carry the posture and confidence of someone destined for greatness.

This is the Lewis I loved, and I was his biggest fan, he changed after Shirtslinger , he became a man with an agenda, which is terrible, because I never looked at Lewis as anything more than Lewis before that, now he seems bitter and he lost his touch with reality over the years, shame, he was a lovable humble young lad at one time, contaminated with an attitude he never had to carry.

Great video clip. Prost and Piquet were already double World Champions at the time of this interview and between the 3 drivers in this video they would win 6 of the next 7 titles. Gold.
