Hey buddy I’m having a p1689 code I’ve already checked the fuel pump relay and it’s not that and inspected some of the wires and they seem okay. I have the issue on my channel at my last video if you could help me out. I couldn’t find a solution on your forum

Also the truck cranks up and runs idle oerfect it just won’t go over 1400 rpm and it’s instant jumps to 1400 rpm whenever I press a little of the pedal

How is fuel consumption measured with Bosh VP44? What info its PSG does provide for the main ECU? What can be wrong there if it shows much greater consumption than actual?

I know this was 5 years ago, but is that a fleetguard filter? I just got one I haven't drilled it yet but the end cap on the filter seems like it would be too thick. Also what size hole did you drill?

Are you sure it wasn't the wire connection? My pressure light was coming on because my clutch pedal was pushing the wire causing a bad connection.

That's about what I saw on the return while installing the fuel cooler, bump & idling.

hey buddy i noticed that my egts drop when 3 cyl comes on im guessing i just have it to close to a cylinder thats not gettting fuel at the time does that sound correct

What would cause fuel to "not" come out of the return port? Just as in your video, I removed my banjo valve, and only drips are coming out, with fuel pressure taking ever so long to drop from 15psi to zero. It would always drop instantly when key turned off. Fairly new rebuilt pump with problem starting just after the warranty expired when reached less than 15k miles. Thanks.
