What brand and motor size are people running in these gt8e ? I'm interested in running this class. Can someone tell me what speed control and stuff people are running in this class ? thanks in advance. Is the mugen gt8e a good car to start with ?

rcmike38 depends on where you are. For us here in Texas, we all run 4s with any here between 1900 to 2650kv. With the sweet spot being around 2200. As far as chassis goes, Serpent GT8e 3.1 or the new hot car is called IGT8. We all run rubber tires.

Hobbywing XR8 plus has proven to be a reliable ESC. Tekin can also work if you are fortunate enough to get one that makes it past the first couple days. 😀

I am a clarinet player and this was such a difficult peice to play for everyone in my high school band but it helped us improve our endurance and love for slow peices. Of course, this was followed by Abrahams Pursute so we were already worn out.
