Thanks so much for explaining the pool and the spa system so well. It was easy to understand the concept because my pool system is perfectly similar to yours . I live in Southern California and my spa has fine particles settling down in the bottom. How would you clean the spa floor to remove the dust and particles?
@renaissancelaboratories5645Ай бұрын
I’m glad you found this video useful. I also have particles in the spa. Big pieces can be skimmed manually or will flow over into the pool skimmer. For sand and dust you can try to stir it around and let that circulate into the pool to be cleaned. BUT, for the best spa clean, they sell a “pool vacuum head”, check Amazon they are about $20 - $40. This attaches in place of your robot cleaner and you can hand vacuum the spa. You may need another hose section to make the distance. It’s also handy for cleaning stairs. I guess you could also try putting your robot cleaner in the spa too for a little while. Hope that helps!

If my understanding is correct, you are bypassing the montech hub. Your fans go directly to the motherboard? The main attraction of this case, is the fan hub (and the price of course). If the fan hub does not work. Then what's the point? Have you tried the MSI center? That also has features to control the fans. However, if the fan hub and the motherboard are not talking to each other, I doubt whether the MSI center (windows application) will work either. I was going to buy this case over the Thermaltake View 380 TG ARGB. Now I have cold feet! I'm not a fan!

how do you keep the water in the spa clean? does this mean that it always runs together with the pool? With always the spillover/waterfall and the sound of it? and do you not get a high pH value quickly? Or do you switch the whole system to the Spa every now and then?

Yes, I soaked and blasted cleaner through the jets, also used a small wire where I could. Eventually I replaced gaskets as well. Thanks for watching!

Yes, your brother is lucky to own that bike. I want a 1950s to early 60s at least Vespa but I would take something from the mid 60s if I had to. They’re hard to come by in my area without being out of my price range and a lot of the ones out of my price range look like they have not run in a long time and have doll faded older restoration. Paint or dull faded original paint and some rust.

Not fair to compare a used bulb. In horticulture (growing bud) we could graph our losses. A $150 bulb was better than a $25 bulb, and they only lasted 3mo before they started costing us money. Basically you can measure the difference between a new bulb and an old bulb. Bulbs over 6mo old or Chinese cheapies were only used in emergency situations.

@renaissancelaboratories5645 the way you were talking I thought you were going to leave it wood grain. I like the hardware and the paper. It's certainly unique. I have a suggestion for the two pieces you glue tested...it's shape reminds me a a shield...you should carve your family crest!

@@renaissancelaboratories5645 I agree! I'm currently repairing an antique children's rocking chair that was badly damaged in a flood last year. Every second layer of the laminate rippled and expanded at different stages. I painstakingly separated each layer. (It's similar to plywood but each layer is thick. It's 2 different species) Once separated and sanded, I'm laminating them back together.
@fdort39713 ай бұрын
@renaissancelaboratories5645 I'm only 25 minutes in so far (have to get back to work...lol) so forgive me if you already did this...I'll finish watching later. What about laminating a full piece of 1/4 inch plywood under the top (cut to shape of course) and an apron to support the top? I like where it's going so far! Considering how big and awkward this will be to pick up...I'd recommend low profile casters. Hold onto the metal glides. I found a set of heavy duty ones stuck to a garage door (no idea why a garage door...lol). I'm going to use mine on my workbench I plan on making!

I have a problem with mine always sinking to the bottom and then the creep crawler gets tangled up.
@renaissancelaboratories56453 ай бұрын
YES! I had this too. I did something a bit unconventional to solve this. I have weights close to the top of the canister lid so that it is below the water, but further along the hose, I have two hose floats as a counter-weight. That way this doesn't sink fully to the bottom, it's more suspended off of the bottom by 6" or so. Or you can also add a few hose floats along the hose to give the hose a little buoyancy. Hope that helps!

Very concise valve/water flow explanation. I'm curious to know though, would I follow this same philosophy when vacuuming manually in an apartment setting where the pool & spa have separate filters, pumps, heater? Feel like I'm overthinking this, but hey, I came to learn. Appreciate you Brother...really good video 👌🏿
@renaissancelaboratories56453 ай бұрын
Hello! In a different setup with separate filters, you'll want to get an understanding of flow. Pump side will be the suction, what exits from the filter will be the returns to form your loop. Best of luck!
@Colourful4204 ай бұрын
Well explained. Just one question : What is the need for the "cleaner " (see diagram 8:25) if you already have a filter ?
@renaissancelaboratories56453 ай бұрын
Hello! That is the suction line for the pool vacuum. You can use the valve to adjust suction or turn it off. The vacuum has a separate filter to trap items. Similar to the skimmer basket, you want to filter larger debris that could harm the pump.

What happens when you don’t have a heater?
@renaissancelaboratories56453 ай бұрын
Hello! Similar principle if there isn't a heater. What comes into the pump is the suction from the pool, what exits the filter is the return back into the pool. Thanks for watching!
