In level 1 even with Aku Aku's invincibility, once you break the bouncing box, the box floating above it also automatically breaks. In your old video on level 1, in fact, you missed the box hidden behind the wall, and not the one floating on the bouncing box with Aku Aku's invincibility. Also if you'd like to know, the entire world 1 will be playable from March 1st. SUBSCRIBED

Awesome tutorial, it worked great! Question though, is 60fps in the emulator settings not recommended? My game lags a bit

*Update* Alright, i messed around with the internal resolution in the emulator and switched to 3x native 1080p. My frame stays consist inbetween 60-57fps. Before it would frequently drop in the 40s and cause the slow downs. The con to this is that it stays consistent in desktop mode

I added the exe application as a non steam game on desktop mode and used proton experimental.

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but when I boot PCSX2 (even after changing the compatibility to proton experimental) - it won't let me set the iso. The dropdown menu pops up, but I can't navigate anything else and my steam deck pretty much freezes up. Does anyone have a solution to this? EDIT: I got it to work by running it on game mode. This will not work on desktop mode as it freezes up as soon as you try to navigate anything on it. However I am running in to a problem in-game. The MP bar doesn't display and the drive form bar is kinda bugged however still functional. Is there a fix for this or is it a "just deal with it" kinda situation?

You add it to your steam library as a non steam game in desktop mode. After that you run it with proton experimental.

KZbin is copyrighting this stream into oblivion. I tried using the built in trim tool many times but the stream is still getting copyrighted. I might just let what's left of the stream to be copyrighted. Because I trimmed more than 15 mins of the stream and youtube still won't budge💀.

I'm not sure about any sonic fangame. But with my tests, I got most of the fangames working with proton. There is rarely a time when it crashes on startup. Other than that it's definitely worth every penny. Enjoy your steam deck! And happy holidays!

Have you or anyone else figured out why the results screen floor stops rendering correctly after a few matches? also meta crystal has a similar issue with the crystals going completely black after a few matches...any help would be great

I have no idea. I am running the game using proton so it's not completely compatible with the steam deck. Or maybe it's just a bug in the game.

Does this work on the ally? I followed the steps but i dont see a pcx2 exe file mine just says pcsx2x64 same for the music thing and theres no option to configure it on steam for me

I have no idea, I never used the Ally. From what I searched up, the rog Ally is windows based, so you don't really need proton in order to launch the emulator. But see if you can launch it from the application without proton. I hope this helps.

I just did the same thing as the tutorial. But if it's small windows use the built in scaling mode and set it to fit. That usually helps me with other fangames. To find that, press the three dots on the steam deck and go to performance. Scroll down then you'll see scaling mode then set it to fit. Hope this helps.🙏

You need to have your steam controller layout as gamepad after that go into settings and find the controller option.

I stocked up by editing the steam deck's right track pad and setting it as mouse. It's a keyboard and mouse game and on steam deck it's surprisingly isn't bad. But the controls will take some time to get used too.

I recommend using the steam deck's built-in scaling filter and setting it to pixel. Pixel for 2D games and FSR for 3D games.

Could it be stick drift? Or maybe set the controls to keyboard and configure your steam deck's controls as if it were a keyboard. I hope this helps.

It's gotta be your obs settings. But that wasn't the case for me with wukong. The first time was when I tried to change the thumbnail of the live stream while the stream was active. The solution was that you have to change the thumbnail before you go live. The second time was when my laptop started glitching, and it was because I needed to update it. Many months ago when I was streaming on kick, my obs settings were terrible. I kept getting constant lag, stutter, etc. I recommend finding a good youtube video on recommended obs live stream settings. Depending on where you want to stream is up to you of course.

After the stream ended I looked up all the endings. So apparently I got the bad ending and have to play the game through NG+ and beat a secret boss to get the true ending. And to be honest I'll play the game months maybe even a year later, just so the game could recieve free updates, maybe even free content. And also possibly a performance boost.
