There are some things that i want to say: 1)The use of mixels, not only there is a clash between Kirby and the world around him but also in his model and texture. 2) the contrast between the background and the level itself: i think that coloring the skybox could've made the whole world cohesive and beautiful. 3)the mixels 4) the warp star could've been executed better, by making Kirby grab onto it, and giving it a little animation (more pizzaz). 5)the ground texture... 6)the older poppy bros is also not executed well, maybe he should jump left to right like the original game. 7) the first house is monochrome. It feels like an oversight (also the inside is not that great). This comment it's not made because i wanted to criticize your game, i just noticed those things and wanted to point them out. 😅 I loved this video! And i understand that this isn't a serious project.

Here's a small suggestion maybe limit kirby's flight like in forgotten land and separate the bodies of land by like making them not all go straight to add some dimension

Quite funny is the fact that everything is in black and white except the enemies, terrain and Kirby, What game engine did you use?

It’s definitely reliable, but the revenue sharing model definitely hurts small studios. I’d say try Godot if it’s a lightweight project…. However unity is still great despite the setbacks

For smoke particles: Try a particle emitter in a cone that spawns particles with zero velocity and add negative velocity to the particles. Make them destoy at origin or give the a short life span with color over life time that has an invisible gradient. Hope this helps

@ depends on how you play it, I was gonn make a joke how Blowout Blast is the first Kirby (as in the first ever Kirby remade onto the 3Ds) game on the 3Ds, but, nah. Wouldn’t be worth it,

Very cool, but one thing that kind of bothers me is the voxels on the characters' feet are smaller than on the rest of their bodies, which just looks inconsistent. 6:10 That's _Bronto_ Burt to you, bucko! /j
