Do the teravails have any wobble in the tires while riding? Another video I watched had that issue with multiple teravails.

Hey Scotty, I'm going for the exact same tire combination. Coming from mountain biking I usu run a smoother tire in the rear and a knobblier one upfront. Haven't seen many configurations like this on "regular" gravel bikes. They all seem to come specc'ed with two identical tires. And I noticed your knog light wrapped around the hub :D I do that too.

Nice bike and video! I bought a Trek Fuel EX8, 2010 26 inch. I bought it for $450 and it was barley used. It's great for me a won't get another bug until I have to.

Something else worth mentioning: The size is T4 Torx. I didn't have a kit, so I needed to find the T4s. Problem is, most tool kits don't come with 2 of any one size. I ended up going to Ace Hardware and getting 2 x T4 Torx bits. They were about $2 each. They're just the bits, but they were good enough since the screws aren't that tight.

Hello buddy, would you say that a full suspension bike is mandatory to ride those trails or a hardtail will be just as fun? I am deciding if I should buy a lightweight hardtail or a siskiu T8
@jacobnelson18313 жыл бұрын
Yes I ride these all the time with my hard tail

Nice ride dude, just got mine (exact same color) a few weeks ago and so far it's been awesome. Dropper's on the way, along with a 32T narrow wide chainring and a 11 speed 11-42. Quick question though - I noticed you don't have those lame ass gear indicators on your shifters... Did you take it out? Did it come with the base covers or did you have to purchase those separately? Again, awesome ride dude!
@selder033 жыл бұрын
Depends on the shifter. I think SLX and above (XT, XTR) don't have the indicators

Awesome! 26” isn’t dead! I just bought an ‘11 EX-8 for $200! The fork was in pieces (will rebuild or sell for parts) but I found a Judy solo air new on amazon for $169. This year you can’t get a mtb to save your life (I’m on 2 waiting lists) so for $369 I’m not complaining. This is a fun bike and somehow 26” was acceptable to all of us for years. Does your 1X grind at all? Mine is mounted where the big ring normally would be so in my biggest cog in back it sounds like I’m cross chaining. I had to move the 1X front ring on my wife’s bike to the middle ring position for the same reason. I had to remove some material on the ring to make it fit and it doesn’t look as pretty on the other side of the crank spider. Wondering if you’ve had the same issue? I’m also in FL so I rarely need to use the biggest ring in back anyhow. Cheers!

i've had those wheels on a 2010 trek 6300, awful, spoke nipples are like cheese, I bent hub axles, probably due to bad tolerances, I replaced bearings, axle, took it for tree rides to the grocery store and I bent the axle. I am a 86kg rider with all gear on, did not do anything extreme. awful.
