As a long time resident of the area, I followed the flight on google earth for fun and then did some measuring. The straight line distance between the airports is 74 miles, the flight path was a bit over 125 miles because of the departure and approach directions. Nice video, thanks for posting.

Hey there my good traveler friend!! First time I've seen Colorado Springs mentioned in your videos! I lived in Colorado Springs back in 2003 to 2006 and I used to fly from there to Denver 3 times a week for work! Hahaha 😁 about a 20 minute flight at I think 5000 feet max?? Hahaha 😁 Luckily the business was paying for my flights Hahaha 😆 it sure bear being on the freeway for 2 or more hours either way that's for sure 😂 Hope all is well for you and your family and friends ❤️ God bless you always and Halong = Take care in Ilonggo 😊

Nice I grew up in Colorado Springs and while the majority of time we would just drive up to Denver and fly out of there there were a few times where we lucked out and took the little United Express plane from Colorado Springs to Denver and then flew to wherever we were going. Brings back Nostalgic memories thank you!

I am going to fly this exact route on southwest airlines as my 2nd flight after a connection in 8 days. I did do this exact flight to charlotte and back on thanksgiving break, but it's cool to know that I have been on that exact route on that exact airline before. This was actually the route for my seconds EVER flight.

Nice video, started my flight training out of COS many yrs ago, this area always known for a rough ride in the lee of the Front Range, mountain wave turbulence etc, also made this trip in a Frontier Convair 580 as a child

Surprised the old American Airlines terminal demolished and now more space for planes to move around. I was there last October and what I see in this video I did not see when I was there. It almost complete!!! Fly to LGA! America’s newest and the most modern airport
